My friend's mom just passed away from brain cancer. My friend has a little brother who is 6 years old, and he wrote this beautiful letter that he said he wanted me to share. I made it so the spelling is right so you can read it easier. It's so sad and touching, it gets me teary-eyed every time I read it. You've been warned Dear Mommy, I miss you so much! I hear Daddy crying in his room every night. I look into his room without noticing and he is watching old videos of you and him. Why did you have to go? Why couldn't you have stayed here? It's making everybody sad that you left us to go to Heaven. Is it beautiful there? Is Kitty there? (Kitty is their old pet dog. Yes, a dog named Kitty). I'm sure Kitty is happy that you're there now because she loved you a lot. I hit my first double today in tee-ball! Daddy says that you were there to help me swing the ball and run. I hope you were. I keep calling your cell phone so I can hear your voice, but you never answer. Please answer mommy. I need to hear you say you love me one more time. I fall asleep every night hugging a picture of you and me. People say that if you hug a picture of someone you love who is already dead, they will appear in your dreams. But mommy, why didn't you appear? I miss you so much. Please wait for me in Heaven. Oh geez, I started crying by just typing it My prayers go out to my friend, her brother, and her family
Title got cut off. It's supposed to say "My Friend's Brother's Letter to his Mother Who Passed Away'.
Well, I cry because I'm an overly-softy person I also put myself in place of him and imagine what he's feeling.
Yup you warned me. I lost my Mum when I was nine. My Sister and my step Da raised me. It was a long time ago but you got me, and I feel for the little one. Hope you'll share your Mum with them. I remember it helped me alot.
Aww Reading this made me cry It was truly beautiful. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, it's always hard to lose someone you love
Actually I didn't cry during the Titanic. I don't really cry at movies. Marley and Me is an exception. When animals die, I cry my eyes out.
