So lately it's been brought to my attention that forum seems to be slipping into some sort of haven for rule breaches and offensive conversations. I've been trying to keep track for a while but due to being ill the last few weeks I haven't had the energy. Today however, is a new day and I'm hoping that this could be the start of a happier, cleaner and all round more friendly forums. Now I see people complaining about how forums has slipped badly yet no one does anything to change. Who cares about past players? Lets meet and enjoy the ones we have! Forums was once a place where you could meet a group of people and enjoy a conversation over the most random of topic and I'd really like to bring that back. I myself hold up my hand and say as a mod forums has been needing some attention for quite some time and I'm sorry it hasn't been given. I just haven't had the time at all but I know it has been affecting everyone. So, for the next while I will be taking a break off campus and focusing on getting forums back on its feet. We have some great new mods that have campus in hand and I'm confident our team will do a good job of cleaning things up with our new additions. :] From now on forums will be checked nightly. Any inappropriate threads, bypasses, ToU breaches or spam will be dealt with and any forum bans or silences that are required will be given. Please do not think your rule breach will be overlooked because I will be keeping a close eye on all active topics. If for some reason I miss anything, please wall me and notify of it so I can take care of whatever has happened. I'm pretty sure I won't be able to spot everything. As a community, I urge you to also change your attitude towards our newer players. Lately it seems a hostile environment and that's not healthy. Lets help them with what questions they need and maybe even find out a little about them so you can include them into your chats. No one is better than anyone here despite how long you have played the game, you're all equally good players. Please remember our forum rules and if you don't know them, read over. One of them, which will probably be highly important if I'm cleaning up is that you are not permitted to complain about the lock/deletion of a thread. If you are not happy about it please contact support and inquire as to why it was locked or deleted. Lets also get some good threads going! It seems to be when I clock in its always the same topics or game ideas. What about something completely random? Like pictures of a vacation and telling us some interesting facts about where you were. Or how about cooking threads? Or maybe something you learnt and wish to share with others? Lets make threads that will entice players and fire up some good conversation! Hopefully with your help and our other mods we can get forums into a better condition.
