FAN FICTION NEWS Contents 2012 - A year to remember Story reviews Role play reviews Book of the month Interviews Agony Aunt Feedback Section 1: 2012 - A year to remember We all remember 2012, right? It was a smashing year for Great Britain, and all of the other countries in the world! To start the party, we had HRH Queen Elizabeth II 's Diamond Jubilee, with several different celebrations such as the Royal Pageant on the River Thames, and the Jubilee Concert on the Queen Victoria statue outside Buckingham Palace! To make things even better, we had the 2012 FA Cup! Even though England didn't win, it was a great way to start up our patriotic spirits before the Olympics in Stratford near Hackney! The 2012 London Olympic Games were the highlight of the year, and inspired many people to chase their sporting dreams! Section 2: Story Reviews Jar of Hearts By Naviesa I enjoyed reading the first instalment of 'Jar of Hearts' because the idea was original and unique. The genre is not something I'd read myself, but because of this story, I'm eager for the next update! Well done! Five Stars Section 3: Book of the Month There is currently no Book of the Month for April, so, I'd like you guys to vote for it below. Please include reasons, the genre, the author and what it's about. Section 5: Interviews I knew you guys would like this, so I organised an interview with the author of Royal Treatment and High School of the Dead, Jihi. Me: How did you come up with the plot for Royal Treatment? Jihi: Royal Treatment is based on an otome style game. I came up with the plot by picking the most generic otome scenario out there, but now it's become very dear to me. Me: OK. I've noticed that you have a lot of readers. How do you get people to read your stories? Jihi: I try to produce the best quality work I can manage. I think people appreciate the effort I take to proof read and research my stories. other than that I just write for fun and maybe that energy gets other people excited to read too. Me: So, what's next for you? Another story? Jihi: I do have something planned to follow Royal Treatment. it won't be entirely related to RT, but it'll have the same feel. High School of the Dead has no plans for a sequel, I already know how it will end. Other stories I've worked on recently are probably not going to make it to FF. Me: OK, thanks, happy writing! Jihi: You too. Section 6: Agony Aunt Dear Agony Aunt, I have recently fallen behind on homework and have been getting many detentions. What should I do? Your's Sincerely, Working from Home. Dear Working from Home, The best thing you can do is do the homework on the day it is set. Apologise to your teachers for handing things in late. Unfortunately, that is the best advice I can give. Good luck! Agony Aunt. Section 7: Feedback Please give me feedback on how you thing this went! Thanks a lot! Brooke. Next Month... More story and role play reviews. Ads, so you advertise clubs, stories and role plays.
Sorry that there were no role-play reviews, but I felt that you cannot review one, and that this is mostly for writers.
