Zach's POV Zach woke up in the dusty Arizona desert to the sound of approaching helicopters. "Crap!" he exclaimed as he jumped out of his sleeping bag and put his pants on. He woke up the co-leader of the group, Sophie, "Sophie wake up," he shouted "NOW!!" "What's wrong?" Sophie asked groggily. "We've been found. You wake everyone up and I'll get our stuff together." Zach instructed. "You got it" Sophie replied, as she started waking the group up. Zach quickly put the group's few belongings in the two stolen army vehicles. He and Sophie had just finished putting everyone in the vehicles when the helicopters became visible. "How far away do you think they are?" Sparrow, one of the groups protector's inquired, the group's healer (and Sparrow's sister) stood right beside her, wondering the same thing. "Two, three minutes tops" Zach said. He looked over at Raven, the group's main protector, "Raven you drive that one, I got this one" Zach ordered as he climbed in the driver's seat of one of the vehicles. "Yes sir," Raven replied as she climbed into the driver's seat of the other vehicle, her sister Sparrow right beside her. They hadn't been gone from the temporary campsite more than a minute when the upcoming helicopters had caught up with them and started shooting. When the second bullet hit the roof of the vehicle Zach was driving, he looked over at Sophie, who was in the passenger seat, "Soph, take the wheel" he said as climbed in the back. He looked at Amy and she immediately got up, knowing she needed to help Zach. Sophie slid over into the driver's seat and continued driving right behind the vehicle Raven was driving. She grabbed the CV radio on the dash and and contacted Sparrow. She spoke into it, "Sparrow, do you read me?" There was no response. She repeated herself. "Sparrow do you read me??" There was still no response "Sparrow!!" Sophie began to worry.
Two problem, Raven's a cold person, she would never say yes sir or anything like that even if you are the leader of the group and Sparrow is more a person who plays around a lot, come on you've been in many RPs with me before, you should know this lol But so far so good

Sophie's POV Sparrow's voice came through the radio, "Hang on." Sophie waited. Sparrow's voice came through again, "Raven's hurt..." A look of confusion came across Sophie's face. "I thought Raven was driving," Sophie stated. "She was," Sparrow replied, "but whenever she heard shots being fired, she told me to take the wheel. She got some good shots, but so did they. Abbi's with her now." "She did something like that without an OK?" Sophie asked, growing slightly irritated. "Yep." Sophie muttered something under her breath, low enough so that Sparrow couldn't hear her, she then spoke up, "Tell her not to do it again." "It's not like she'll listen..." Sparrow said nonchalantly. Sophie grew more irritated, "Just tell her." "Okie Doke!" Sparrow chirped right before she put the radio down. ____________ Zach's POV As Sophie and Sparrow talked on the radio, Zach and Amy were in the back of the vehicle. They passed out bulletproof vests to everybody. Then everyone received a glock, with the exception of Zach, Amy and Tarragon, who received snipers. Standing in the rear of the vehicle, Zach turned to face the armed and protected warriors, "Get as close to the cab as you can, for the younger ones, get n the cab with Sophie, stay quiet," he commanded. "Do not, and I repeat, do not move or shoot unless I say so." The warriors did as they were told and the four children got in the cab with Sophie. Zach, Amy and Tarragon stood at the rear with Amy on the left, Tarragon heon the right, and Zach in the center. Zach looked at the two girls, "Now," he said as he kicked open the door. As soon as the door opened, the shots from the helicopter increased, and Zach could just barely make out three black Hummers behind the wall of dust created by the army vehicle. "Helicopters first!!" he ordered and the all pointed their guns up and began to shoot. Zach's shots went right through one of the helicopter's engine, making it explode. Amy's shots hit the propeller blades, effectively bring down the chopper. Tarragon's shots killed the pilots in the third helicopter, causing it to crash. They next aimed at the windshields of the Hummers, only finding them to be bulletproof. Tarragon remembered something she had learned awhile back with her dad: shooting the headlights (for some reason that she couldn't remember) would make the vehicle explode. "Guys!" she yelled, "Aim for the headlights!" They all shot the headlights at the same time, and sure enough, the Hummers exploded. Amy and Tarragon gathered all the weapons from the warriors and secured them safely in the metal, bulletproof trunk. Tarragon shut it with great force. Zach helped get the children out of the cab, all except for Hope, his two and a half year old daughter. He put her in his lap as Sophie drove behind Sparrow. The two dozed off. About four hours later, Sophie stopped at a Motel 6, waking Zach. "Where are we?" Zach asked groggily. "Big Water, Utah," Sophie answered. Knowing what his next question would be, she answered again, "Not far from the state line on highway 89" She opened her door. Zach got out and walked in, his sleeping daughter in one arm, his duffel bag in the other. Since money was tight, everyone had a roommate, and Zach was rooming with Sophie. After they had found their room, Hope was wide awake, while Zach and Sophie were the complete opposite. Zach's stomach growled. He hadn't eaten in a day, and it had been a while since Hope had eaten anything, too. He looked over at Sophie, "I'm going over to the little convenience store across the street, you want anything?" "Surprise me," Sophie said, almost asleep. Zach picked up Hope, grabbed his wallet, and exited the motel room. He and Hope walked over to the little store. The sign read 'Kidd's Convenience'. Zach pulled open the door. As soon as he walked in, he recognized the girl that was surveying the isles for something good to eat. His jaw dropped slightly. "How," he thought, "how is this possible". The girl noticed him, she looked very shocked and very surprised. "Zach," she let out. "Olivia," he uttered. It was Olivia Cumblander. He couldn't believe it.
Kinda boring update... __________________ Zach's POV After a minute or two of shocked staring, Olivia walked over to Zach and Hope, "She has all of your features." "I don't remember having blonde hair and blue eyes..." They both let out an awkward laugh. After a long pause, Zach asked, "Would you like to grab a bite to eat?" "I'd love to," Olivia answered. They exited the convenience store and walked about I quarter of a mile down the road to a little diner. It was a small establishment, about the size of a Waffle House. Zach opened the door and allowed Olivia to walk in, just like he had always done. She walked in, remembering what she had with Zach before the baby, then she remembered how she left I. The middle of the night, just three months after Hope was born. She longed to have that connection with him again, but she knew she couldn't. She had betrayed him, and nobody loves a betrayer. When they sat down, a waitress brought them two menus, along with a highchair for Hope. They both ordered a cup of coffee and a hamburger. Zach also ordered a glass of milk and a small plate of French fries for his daughter. They ate and the talked. They talked like nothing bad had happened between them. They even (unintentionally, of course) had the people in the diner thinking they were married. After they left they walked back to the Motel 6. "Where are you staying?" Zach asked Olivia. "I'm um..." Olivia took a long pause, "I'm staying in my car tonite. I can't get it started and there is no 24 hour mechanic anywhere around here..." "Would you like to stay with us?" Zach asked hopefully. "I wouldn't want to be a burden on you..." Olivia stated, resisting every urge in her body to not immediately say yes. She couldn't hurt him, not again, and that meant she couldn't stay with him. Zach was persistent, "You wouldn't be a burden." Olivia was firm in her decision. "Please," Zach pleaded. Olivia couldn't take it anymore and finally gave in "Ok." Zach smiled, knowing that he won, "Yay" Zach walked up the stairs with Hope in his arms and Olivia behind him. Zach opened the door. "Here we are," Zach said as he took the key out of the door. Olivia walked in and her eyes went directly toward Sophie was asleep in the bed. "Who's that?" she asked. "That's Sophie," Zach answered. "She's a friend of mine," "Oh." Zach unzipped his duffel bag and got out two pairs if gym shorts and a t-shirt. He handed one of each to Olivia. Olivia walked into the bathroom and changed. When she came out, she found Zach in his gym shorts without a shirt on, fiddling with the tv remote. "It looks as if you haven't changed a bit," she said as she climbed under the covers. Zach laughed a little, "Well you know what they say, old habits never die." He climbed in the bed beside her, with Hope inbetween them. And they fell asleep. That next morning, Zach and Olivia woke up to find two loaded guns pointed at both of them.
