Chapter 1: him It was like an other day, I was walking down the busy city streets with my boyfriend Nick. It was hot here in Phoenix Arizona, but I couldn't complain, I loved it here. "So are you up for The broken hearts dinner tonight with the gang?" Nick asked playing with our intertwined fingers. "Well I don't know, I'm real busy helping my dad around the house and stuff, and Tommy was asking for me to help him with his science project." I said with a weak smile up at him. Nick gave me a exasperated look, sighing. "But Nevaeh you promised you'd come, we haven't gone out for months." Nick said watching me. "I know Nick but it's still hard, getting over.. You know." I said looking down at the ground, my eyes beginning to sting from the memories surrounding me of my mother. Nick stopped walking now, and his arms came around me, pulling me to his chest. "I'm sorry Babe, I shouldn't have said anything, look I'll call you tonight, and we will talk about this." Nick said and kissed me gently before walking up the stairs of his apartment building. I sighed and waved to him before beginning my walk yet again. I couldn't wait until there would be a day I wouldn't go nuts missing my mother, her death had hit my family hard, she was the one keeping us together. As I walked I tried my best to block out all thoughts of her, it was to painful to continue thinking of her. So when I watched a man falling from the very tip top of a huge sky scrapper just feet from me my mind went in overdrive. I gasped in horror as he landed right at my feet, blood splattering my legs. His limbs all were in an unnatural twist in different places. But as his head cocked to the side looking up at me his mouth parted blood flooding out and spoke. "he's coming for you." He Muttered sounding agonized before his eyes shut and breathing faltered. Bump?
