TUTORS What are they? They are other players that you hired. Some are active, some are not. But why are they so important? Definitions Active: plays the game often Inactive: quit/deleted the app OP: overpriced, above normal MP: market price, normal UP: underpriced, below normal TB: tutor bonus It gives a bonus when hitting others or being hit. Tutor Plunder: an extra amount of money earned when farming; totally dependent on cost of tutors It says tutor bonus, but it is not to be confused with TB as we refer to it as tutor plunder when talking about the farming bonus. Volley: Repeatedly hire, the person being volleyed earns money per hire, up to 1m. The people volleying receives 0.15 of the value they hired at when the tutor is hired away from them. Bump: Similar to volley but usually just 1-5 hires to increase price. 1. Activity Some tutors are know as active, while some are inactive. Most people would prefer actives as they upgrade and are easy to sell. While some will want inactives for their tutor bonus. 2. Pricing Prices vary, but there are different prices for holding the tutor or selling the tutor. For example, an active 5kcs tutor can be kept at 300-400m although the MP is only 238-300m. This is because the pupil wishes to keep the tutor, thus he OPs it. But, when the pupil wishes to sell the tutor, he will raise it to one hire below MP, thus being able to sell easily. 3. Tutor Bonus As show in definitions, it gives a small bonus when hitting someone or being hit. This is especially useful when trying to hit someone successfully. This TB will be made up of the total stats of your tutors. 4. Tutor Plunder As stated and show in definitions, it is an extra amount of money gained when battling another player. It's very important when farming to earn money. Therefore, I recommend putting in 30-50% of your money in tutors for the extra plunder. 5. Volleying This is a way of earning money. However the money you gain has a limit of 1m per hire. I recommend upgrading to 5088cs by being volleyed then earn money by yourself. DO NOT ASK TO BE VOLLEYED WHEN YOU ARE OP Another way to earn through volley is to bump/hire tutors. This can be done when a tutor is hired away from you. You will receive 0.15 of the original amount you bought at. 6. Tutor Etiquette For the following, it is only a OPINION and I stand by it. This is a long section Many of the disputes and hate revolve around this. Many disagree who and when can a person hire the tutor, therefore, I'll share what I think is fair and what is best for everyone. I'll put another disclaimer here *This is only an OPINION* a) Highest Bidder Wins Meaning that the one willing to spend the most money to hire gets to keep b) Keep OP Always keep the tutor OP to prevent others from hiring c) Always for sale unless in System War StripFarm war and PlunderWars are not counted. If you want to prevent loss of money, use the ATM for maximum security d) Below 1B need not ask Or if the pupil is a LCBC, hiring a tutor below 10b from the LCBC wouldn't require asking as the price is cheap for them e) Don't farm over tutors, either rehire or find another There are many tutors out there, you can always hire them or rehire if you wish to keep OP f) It's a free world, you don't own the tutor Keep in mind that the tutor is a real person and you don't own him/her g) Follow your own advice If your own status says "don't hire my tutors," I suggest you don't hire other's too 7. Guide to 5088cs 1. Evict 1k crew 2. Buy 6 dorms 3. Hire 3 muscles, 3 hackers. 4. Then upgrade all to lv4 5 buy 6 more dorms 6 repeat ȘτερȘ 3-4 Read these instructions, ask if you don't understand. Of course, the tutor needs to be volleyed to atleast 238m in order to do this. 8. How to be a good pupil? Send gifts Give tutor farmlists Do drop volleys Care for them But most importantly, treat them as your friends! I have to say I laughed at "being a good pupil"... Here is why, you do realize when you treat tuts as "good friends" that is half of the reason why so many issues happen with tuts. It is a Free Market, highest bidder wins the tut, but when you get close to a tutor, many forget that and get pissy when they are hired, which will cause farming over a tut. Me personally, yes tutors are people, obviously, everyone on here is. I am not saying you shouldn't be friends with them, I'm just saying free market is part of this game which many tend to forget all due to being "good friends"
Sorry if I'm wrong. But if you really want the tutor, you can rehire. Or you can still be friends. My tutors get hired away but I'm still their mentor and help them too.
Wow ur tutor bonuss soo highh! Mine doesn't change a bit when I hire new tuts or get tuts hired away lol any idea what's happening here?
While I agree to the majority of what you have said here, I do have to question why you state rule a) "highest bidder wins" and state that all tutors are for sale unless in a system war / farm war yet your status says "only underpriced tutors are for sale" ??? Quite the contradiction
Lots of my tutors are reseting. What percentage of their value do i get once their reset? Appreciate a answer thats on point
