THE GREAT ISLAND My dad drove into the Great Island. The grey sea smelled like sour milk, the air was humid, but Alex and his dad will get used to it. " Well, here we are!" Dad said, glancing at me. " What do you think Alex?" " Horrible.." I said " Ok.. I'll ignore that..." He was driven into a dark and deep forest with a rocky path. A huge sort of mansion awaited us. The wood from the house was cracked, the color was a faint blue. " Now what do you think??" my dad Asked again. " Horrible.." " I know you miss your friends Alex. It's life. Now that's why you make new friends, ok? You'll enjoy yourself in The Great Island!" " Whatever Dad, let's just check the place out. " My blonde spiky hair was getting unbalanced so I fixed. We entered the mansion. It was spacious, yet really uncomfortable. " will you show me to my room?" I asked my dad. " Ok, follow me then!" My dad zoomed in front of me and walked up the stairs as I followed. The corridor was huge. There were five rooms on the left side, and six on the right. "The very last one on the right is yours" my dad patted my back. " Tomorrow will be your first day of school, Alex. Now you can make friends!" I stayed quiet because I had millions of hate to release. But instead, I kept it in. I opened the door and saw that there was already a closet, a bed, a chair and a table. The window had a view of the dark forest. I threw my luggage onto the floor and jumped into bed. October 27, 2011, 4:21am. Something or someone touched me on the cheek. I woke up, breathing heavily. I looked around for the ' thing ' who or what touched me. I stood up and walked over to the window. Whenever I woke up in the middle of the night, I would always look out the window and looked at the moon and the stars. But instead of looking up, I looked down. The garden is what I was looking at. A white blur was there, a shape of a little girl. It started to walk slowly. I walked backwards about to jump out of the room. The little girl floated out the window. Singing. I ran out the door screaming ' Dad! ' I tripped on a laying skateboard, hitting my head..... Still hearing the little girl singing... October 27, 2011, 5:59am I woke up again, on the floor. I look at my watch and it was almost school. I barely stood up, I walked over to my room door. I slowly opened the door and peeked inside. There was nothing there. I still walked slowly in the room getting dressed. I put on a white top with black stripes, jeans, socks and a hoodie. The stairs were made out of wood just like the rest of the house, each step made different noise. I skipped breakfast and put on my shoes. I opened the door, it was a cloudy day. Just a drop hit my nose. I put on my hood just incase it started to rain. Since I was ten minutes early, I decided to stop by at a little shop, to get something there. I entered the strode and it made. Ringing noise as I opened the door. " Um, hello." I said politely. " Good morning!" said the old lady smiling. " Ehm.. Can I get a roll with ham and cheese in it please?" " Certainly..!" She picked up a block of cheese with some gloves. Then sliced three pieces of it. Then she got two slices of ham, put it in the freshly ovened roll and placed in to a plastic bag. " Ere you go!" she said in a hard Irish accent. " Thank you, how much?" I pulled out my wallet then got ready to give her money. " €4." I gave her a five euro and said to her " keep the change." i walked out hearing the bell ringing. I took my time eating the roll, then after two to three minutes, I finished it. Just then a few school girls and a guy came walking past me. They giggled except for the guy who was glaring at me. I tried to hide my smile but couldn't. " Hi! " one of them said. She had hazel hair,Green grey eyes and was Pale. " Hey.." I said, smiling still. " My name's Adurinnea!" she said in a high pitch voice. " What's yours?" " Hey Adurinnea! Why don't YOU introduce us.." one of them said in a grin. " Yeah.." the boy in the group put his arm around Adurinnea. " Ok, whatever. This hot guy over here is Salrion. And this girl over here is Katy..! Now what's your name???" Adurinnea asked again. " Alex..." I said quietly. Katy caught my eye. Her black short hair and her grey eyes were the only thing in his world. " I gotta go, bye." I said, running. AFTER SCHOOL I saw them again. But they ran into the school forest in light speed. I could only hear the rustling of the leaves that they past. WALKING HOME I went back to the shop to buy another role. STILL WALKING HOME I tied my shoe lace. AT HOME Those people. I knew they weren't human.. I threw my school bag into my room then walked out the house to play some soccer. Dad was at work so I could pretty much do anything. Mysteriously, I found a belt covered in blood. Just like it was been used. I stared at it. Not knowing what to do with it. Then it happened again. The singing. I looked everywhere trying to find where it was coming from. Then I noticed it was coming from the forest. I couldn't believe my eyes. I saw Katy, Adurinnea and Salrion. They saw me, then ran again in light speed. Then I saw Rogue on the ground. Rogue was a classmate in maths period. I figured they did this with the belt, but she wasn't bleeding. " We're coming for you.." a faint whisper said in my head. " Oh damn.." I mumbled. I came prepared. A baseball bat, helmet and pants. I was in my room standing on my bed, scared. October 30 5:00am I haven't slept for days, dad hasn't come back from work. Black circles were under my eyes. They didn't come. I was safe. I took off my helmet and dropped my bat. I lay down sleeping. October 30 5:03am " come and play, Read and stay, I am nice, Come and stay, OR DIE IN PAIN!" The song was in my dream. I woke up and saw a girl with black long hair writing on the wall in front of me with blood. It screamed and jumped out the window. I tried to look for my bat but couldn't. The girl came out of under my bed and started to have a seizure. Then it stopped. I stood and walked slowly to it. It screamed and grabbed me.... Salrion, Adurinnea and Katy drew the abyss star. Then it turned into a big black hole. They threw Alex into it. Alex's dad wasn't dead. He was in the hospital. He suffered from rabies. The girl in white stared at him at a distance out the window, floating. It walked slowly to him. Then grabbed him. THE GREAT ISLAND
