Xavier's Pov Fear. Mom, I learned a new a new thing today. The reason tiny children cling to their stuffed animals at night, the reason adults lock their doors, and give a final pray before slumber, is because of fear. Either fear of a fictional creature, or maybe an actual person, but the end result is the same. Death, is what they all fear. Kneeling down I lightly stroked the top of my mother's grave. "I'm learning mom, but... I don't know what to do," The cold December winds bite harshly at my face, bringing a wave of chills up my spine. "Mom, I know you can hear me, please... Tell me what I should do," I spoke again. I was desperate, just to hear her again, I missed her. Life really hasn't been the same without her. My father, my younger sisters, all of them, were nothing but broken shells. I stood there waiting, clutching my coat closer around myself. Closing my eyes, I listened, just waiting to hear anything, just at least a yes of no. But I heard nothing, I guess in a way this was the answer.. "So you think I should go.." I said turning to face the direction of the huge house, said to be haunted. Silence. So I guess that's a yes, go on ahead, I could care less. Glaring slightly, I turned my back on the grave, and went marching towards the house. For years this house was known for being the most haunted house in America. No one has been in this house for centuries. Legends say the spirits of the family who lived there are still around. The story behind their death was all different, no one really knows what happened, but one thing that is the same from story to story, it that if you can last a month in that house, you gain a wish to bring back someone from the dead... This was my last chance to save my family.. And I would do it. Bump?
