  1. Hey guys! I realised the other day that I've started a whole bunch of stories but never finished them. So, if people keep this bumped, I'll be more likely to finish it.
    Thanks,

The hot sun beamed down on to the desert in front of me. I was wearing a laced, white vest top, and denim shorts. No shoes. I stared at my surroundings, scared of what may happen next. I looked at my feet on the hot, golden sand. When I looked back up, I noticed my mother, standing about three-hundred yards away from where I was standing. My eyes gleamed with excitement as I sprinted towards the familiar figure, and wrapped my arms around her.
"It'll be alright in the end, Iris. I promise," She said, as I pressed the side of my face against her stone-cold bosom.

It was only now that I realised it was a dream. I could tell because what she had just said was what she had said to me when she walked out on my Dad. It all came back to me at that moment. The lies. The arguments. The nightmares.

I woke with a start, and felt the side of my face, to see if my Mother's cold body had really been pressed against mine. It was cold. Ice cold. I began to feel strange. If it was a dream, then why could I feel her temperature on my rosy cheek?

The door swung open, and in came a kind, round figure. It was my aunt, Sarah. She smiled at me kindly, then held my hand.
    "It was just a dream."

  2. She smiled at me lovingly, but only one thought spun through my mind. "Sarah," I began. "How did you know about my dream?" I asked her. She shrugged her shoulders, then let out a deep sigh.
"How does Arizona-" She stopped in the middle of her sentence. "Nevermind."

What she had said about Arizona worried me. He was a nice guy, and I'd known him since childhood, but, where did he come into all of this?

"Now, Iris," Arizona began. "Open your eyes." I opened my eyes to see a huge white wolf standing in front of me, and Arizona was nowhere to be seen.

Of course! Arizona was a werewolf.

I threw on the same clothes I had on yesterday, got into my rusty old Vauxhall and drove out of town, towards the village of El Forage. As I drove, I thought about last summer, and what I had encountered with Arizona. Wolves. Vampires. Spirits. Demons. None of this was new to me at all now. I didn't live in the world that I grew up in. I lived in a completely different world.

I drove past the beach that me and Arizona had encountered six ravenous vampires. It all came rushing back to me.

I lay on the cold, wet sand, shaking, jerking, and screaming in agony as the venom spread all round my body.
