I arose from my table as the woman came over to set my drinks down, but she seemed to have had a lot on her plate, at least twenty for her to hold, close to spilling. "Would you like me to get that?"I asked warmly, a side of my mouth still with some cream cheese of the bagel I ate. "Oh. Thanks. Your a life savor."the woman thanked gratefully, setting my cups to my table as I helped her out. Michel was reading his early book session, and didn't bother to look up and help us, which got me steaming. He was the shy kind, and he really enjoyed an early read, instead I prefer to hang out with everyone. "You missed a spot."he commented, not looking from his book. "Well we would love if you helped." "You seem fine to me." I was already done setting out the tables, the girl thanked me and sighed a bit of relief, probable because she was done with her shift or something. "Thanks again. SATs are coming up and I need the extra time to study."she smiled at me and exited through the kitchen door, and I heard a slam. "Dude, did you see that?"I nudged Michel. "Nope. Why? I'm reading something really good." I yanked the book from his hands and it sended off flying, and Michel gave me an annoyed look. "Whats so great with that? Books can be a waste of time." "Uh...no. I've got six, and the one I'm reading now is Bloodlust, it's really interesting." "Boo-hoo. You have all day for that." "Actually, I don't."he chuckled. I rushed out of the table and went into the bathroom, not really caring of what he meant by that. Yes, another short one. Finally wanted to do something common.
Thank you Angela, but I don't think it shall stay very long. I have a great thread idea, that's not writing.
