The cold winter night sent chills through Luke's veins.The breeze wasn't much help either. Luke walked through the forest not knowing what to expect.It was dark,cold,and very difficult to see.Anything could happen. All he was trying to do was get home to his farm in Troytetera.A small village in the realm of Orion. Luke was a poor boy that delivered mail through out the kingdom of Stepenra.He had no family except for his brother,Matthew.But what was different about Luke is that he was a skilled swordsman.He took down the older boys in a sparring competition which won Luke respect and hatred. Luke was also madly in love with the captain of the spar team,Bridget Webster.He had beaten her in sparring but was to young by one year to be captain.Luke's 14 and Bridget is 15. As Luke walked on through the forest he stopped to take a rest.He leaned against a tree and closed his eyes,hoping he would be home soon. Suddenly,out of nowhere,something hit Luke with such force he flew and hit the nearest tree with his back. "Ow...my head...",Luke groaned Then Luke looked up and saw a creature of none he'd ever seen before.It was a troll.Big,mean,muscular and had terrible breath. "Hello Luke of Troytetera.I am Kylain the Troll king.Do you know why you're here?",the monster asked pushing Luke against the tree. "No I don't!!!Please let me go!!",Luke said gasping for air. "Haha",it laughed,"You're going nowhere.You're here because you're going to help me Luke.The elves and vampires are starting riots and making threats on the southern part of Orion.They said they were angry that our government has stopped supplying for them which isn't true.This has resulted in war." "That's defiantly not good...but what can I do to stop that?,"Luke asked "You my friend are the best sparrer in the realm that can help.Also you will help by joining the Trolls,humans,and wizards to stop the elves and vampires from taking over.And your friend...Bridget I believe is joining us too.And your brother Matthew.So come with me now.",Kylain explained. "But...I can't help with--",Luke was cut off by a noise from the bushes." Suddenly a squad of elves jumped out and surrounded Luke and Kylain. "Surrender now or pay the consequences.",The elves said together. "No thanks.",Luke pulled out his jet black,metal,razor sharp sword and prepared for attack then charged. Luke went for his first target and slashed the elf in the stomach.Then suddenly took down two more with one slice.He fought more and more as Kylain sat and watched. Just before Luke gave the final blow to the last elf,and arrow shot straight through its head. Luke looked around and saw his brother Matthew in a tree with a smile of enjoyment on his face as he lowered his bow.
