I'll tell you Okay so my brother came home telling me (us) for the second time that my boss was telling him stuff about me. Like not so good stuff. Not bad but not good either. So the frst time he told my brother to tell me to stop coming in late. Which I have not. He told him that Once. He knows that when I first started I had trouble remembering when to punch in. So I've punched/clocked in late but not arrived late to work. Which he can clearly see in the cameras at the front lobby. Plus the night shift/morning shift people are there and know that I come in at least 5 minutes earlier. Might not punch in on time but I enter the front desk at least 5 minutes before. Secondly, he told my brother today that he doesn't know what's wrong with me because apparently I stutter or some shit while I'm speaking with customers. That apparently whenever a guest asks where the vending machine is I stutter and just look at a coworker and have them answer it which is complete bullshit because I'm the only one who even talks to the damn customers since everyone else is busy doing something on the computer. The customer comes up to the front desk and everyone just ignores them and stares at the computer while typing. I'm the mother fucker who stops what he's doing and talks to the customer. I know I ask for some help with directions when it's more in-depth stuff like streets in Portland which I dont know. But if it's something in the hotel I'm the only damn person who gives directions. And then the whole 'boss-talking-to-my-brother-about-me' thing. He clearly said himself "if you need to tell someone something you go directly to the person." Like when I asked him if my brother and I could get the 26th off (my cousin's baptism) he got all anal that I cant ask for my bro's stuff and I gotta stay off his business and shit but goes to my brother to talk about me? The fuck does my brother have to do with what I do? Fucking hypocrite. And then he himself mentioned "we're getting better reviews on TripAdvisor than we've ever gotten" and not to brag or anything but a bunch of people have started saying in the review comments how "The Hispanic man at the front counter was very helpful and went out of his way to give us directions" and all that crap while his 'old timers' are getting shit reviews. I had a call the other day from this lady saying how her room was broken into and her electronics were stolen and when she talked to my boss he didn't do shit and said "oh well that sucks" and everyone at the front counter that day just ignored her like 'whatever' and then she said "you said your name was (Jopo)? I remember you're the person who checked us in and I gotta say you were the best part of this hotel because everyone else are worthless pieces of shit" so I'm pretty sure i'm getting them PRETTY good fucking reviews instead of them making themselves look like dumbasses. So that's my day.
