:3 ------------ Sakura breathed her shaky breath as she looked up, she was safe. No, they were safe. Naruto, was sound asleep, same with Sasuke, who was lying on her lap. This mission was hard. Real hard. Why had Kakashi sensei sent them on a B rank mission? Sakura shook away the thought. She musn't care about whether or mot this was hard or easy. This mission depends on them, or else the Village would be in grave danger. "..." ------ Writer's block. =_=
--------- "..." Sakura picked them both up and ran to the nearest town. "..." She panted as she dropped the bodies on the floor, yelling at the clerk to give them a room to stay for the night. The clerk quickly searched for a key and dropped it in Sakura's palms, and she ran up to the room, holding the bodies and dropped them on the bed of the small room. Sakura began shaking as she felt somebody's presence, and pulled out a kunai, soon dropping it as she realized no one was there. "... Close one..." ------ :3
Sakura hugged Sasuke as he began to wake up. "Sasuke!" Sasuke rubbed his hand then pushed her away. "Wait- oh. It's you, Sakura." Sakura nodded then turned to Naruto. He was snoring. Typical. "Where are we..." Sakura then replied with a sigh, "Oh... We're at... A hotel." "WHAT?! A HOTEL!? SAKURA THERE'S NO TIME TO REST. KAKASHI GAVE US A B RANK MISSION THAT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH OROCHIMARU WHY-" Sakura slapped his mouth and told him to be quiet. "... I'm going to the market to buy something to eat for us before Naruto wakes up. Guard the room, we can't let our guard down. Mmkay?" Sasuke nodded and turned to the sleeping Naruto. Sakura on the other hand, shook her head and left. -------- Sakura was walking around, looking at the fruit, and other things Naruto and Sasuke might like. "... Hmm... Dangos sounds good!" "..." A red haired boy stood behind Sakura, looking at her. "Hn..." Sakura turned around and gasped. It was Gaara from the Chuunin exams, the boy who had nearly killed Sasuke and her once. "... What do you want." Gaara ignored her and looked away. He was now looking at the fresh vegetables, and Sakura found no need to talk to him. She walked away, and continued her little grocery shopping. Gaara just stood there and followed her with his eyes, stalking the pinkette with pale turquoise eyes. --------- Sakura kept walking, until she heard a noise. "..." 'It was only the wind...' Sakura ignored it and kept walking, hoping to get away from this place as quick as possible. "... Hn..." Sakura quickly dug her hand into her pocket, pulling out a kunai and throwing it at the tree behind her. "..." Sakura was now panting, her eyes searching the place, looking for somebody. "... Looking for me?" Gaara walked away from his hiding spot, and appeared before Sakura. "... What do you want?" Sakura was impatient now. She had two teammates who were injured and needed her help. "..." Gaara didn't know either. It was if his feet had dragged him here, against his own will. "... If you don't have anything to say, then please excuse me. I have some important things to do rather than standing her with a mad man who probably wants to kill me." Sakura began to turn away until Gaara grabbed her arm, causing her to gasp and stop. "... What, did you just call me?" Gaara's grip was strong, and Sakura was now struggling to get out of his grasp. "Let me go!" She began pulling, but her efforts were failing. "I said, what, did you just call me?!" Gaara twisted her arm, and she screamed in pain. "You're hurting me! Stop it!" Sakura was now pushing him away. Gaara began to loosen his grip until he dropped his arm. Sakura fell on the floor, shaking with fear. "... I- I didn't mean to.. Hurt you." Gaara kneeled down and pulled her up, then looked intensely into her eyes. "... No... I'm sorry for... Calling you mad." She said the last words in a small whisper, but not small enough for him to not hear. Gaara looked deeper into her eyes, until he pulled her closer and landed a kiss on her lips. Sakura's eyes widened but she didn't move, but he did, by disappearing in the sand. "... Gaara..." Sakura touched her lips the the tip of her finger, and blushed as she replayed that exact moment where he touched her lips with his. ------- :3 Ahem...
Sakura ran into the room, smiling and handing out the food to both Naruto and Sasuke who were now awake. "Hey guys~!" Sasuke and Naruto both stood there, shocked at her. She was whistling to a cheery tune, chewing on her dingo stick. "Mmmm!" Soon, it was only Sasuke who took notice of Sakura's awkwardness. What happened to her that made her like this? Naruto was gulping down the ramen in a cup Sakura had bought for him, and had finished it in just a minute. "... Hey Sasuke!" Naruto was waving his hand at him, and was grinning as well. "What, loser?" Naruto was still grinning, 'Seems like Sakura's happy attitude got to him huh.' "Let's go, TRAINING!" "Still as hyper as always, huh knucklehead?" Naruto ignored his answer and dragged him along as well as Sakura, who was still whistling to her little cheery song. ------- Sasuke: (=_=") Naruto: (^O^)/ Sakura: ♪(^ε^ ) ------- "Ready?" Sakura threw her kunai at Sasuke, who dodged them easily. "Hmm..." Sakura then did a shadow clone jutsu, and threw a shower of kunai at Sasuke. Sasuke dodged them all again like it was nothing, and then hit Sakura in the stomach, making her fly backwards, hitting a tree. "Ow..." Sakura walked away, leaving Naruto to battle Sasuke. Sakura grabbed a sandwich that she kept in a little bag she brought, and began biting down on it. She watched as Naruto landed a lunch on Sasuke's face, and Sasuke kicking Naruto in the ribs. "Wow..." --------- :3
