Is there mean girl at your school? Do you just want to SHUT HER UP? here's a little something.. Louisa Johnson glanced at the clock for the nth time. Come oon, she thought, two more minutes till freedom! "And Shakespere created some of the most famous..." Mr. Whats-his-name said. He looked as bored as Louisa was. Louisa groaned inwardly. She lobed Shakespere and everything but did he have to be so boring today? Todayw as the day. Correction, the date. Yes, that's right, the ah-mazing Brett Kienns asked her out to a date. A freggin' date. They agreed to meet at Ice Cream Hauz, the place where all juniors went. The popular ones of course. And why wouldn't Louisa be popular? She was pretty, rich, she lived in New York, she had friends, she practically spelled popular. Louisa was living the life. Guys loved her, girls wanted to be her, she was the Alpha of Gillian High. But there's a tiny little dark secret Louisa has tried to forget again and again yet, we all know she remembers the secret perfectly well. You wanna know the secret? It's called Macey Everdeen.
Hahahaha this story never had any bumps! Hahahahahahaha, I serioisly cannot stop laughing right now. I'm such a dork.
I can't believe I'm doing this. Hahahahaha, this never had a bump until now. Hahahahahahahahahahaha! But hey, I'm bored so.. - Macey Everdeen. Ugh, I hate her sooo much. Third grade, she made me eat dirt. Fourth grade, she "accidentaly" spilled her Kool-Aid all over my new dress. Fifth grade, she locked me in the janitors closet for the whole day. Sixth grade, she filled my locker with oil, messing up my stuff. Basically, she made my life a living hell. And now, I'm popular. Awesome. Fabulous. And what about Macey? Well, I don't give a damn. My Prada bag swung from my wrist as I walked down the halls. My two bestfriends, Lucy and Ali were walking with me at my side. And, you probably won't believe this, but people actually made way for us. Like we were Moses and they were the Red Sea. We confidently, yet fabulously, walked into the caf and took our usual seats. Write when we sat down, wannabe freshmen brought our food to us. "Thanks." I smiled at one of them, and she looked so happy as if Zac Efron had kissed her. We waved them off and didn't touch our food yet. All the other tables didn't touch theirs too, they were too busy staring at us. "So." Lucy said, "You know what to do, right?" Mission Hawt: rock the date. Easy peasy. "Mmhmm." I took a bite of my apple, which was a signal for everyone else that they could start eating now. "Good, because he's a jock. We mess this up and we're dead." Lucy said. "Oh, don't exaggerate, Luce." Ali rolled her eyes. It was true. Even if the date ended badly, the Seniors would still love us, the most popular Juniors of all time. "Aneh-way." I said, "Are we still on for the party this Friday?" "Totally." was their reply. I would invite the whole school, minus the losers, of course, and I would throw the most smashin' party evah. Cause, you know, that's what popular kids do. -
Okay, okay, I surrender. Here's an update: ----------------------------------------- I entered Ice Cream Hauz with style and confidence bowing down to me. I saw Brett at the end of the restaurant and of course, him, along with the whole restaurant, noticed me right away. Step 1: Take your time. I sashayed the resto, talking to some girls to make their day, some guys to make him jealous a teeensy bit. Finally, I arrived at the table. I sat down and flashed him my über-awesome smile and he melted. "Hey." he said, trying to act cool. "Hi!" I smized. For those of you who don't understand that. Watch ANTM. As Tyra Banks says, smile with your eyes. Smize. "So what are you going to get?" he asked. Step 2: Pressure. "I'll just have whatever your having." I said. He turned red. If he ordered something not good, then he's going to ruin the date. The waitress came up to us, emo hair and all, full bubblegum mode and took out a pen and paper, "Whatcha gunna have?" Brett glanced at the menu, "Um...one sundae." The safest choice. Ooof course. As the waitress walked away, he turned to me, "So how did you find the history test?" Step 3: Disinterest "It was okay." I pulled out my phone and sent a text to both Ali and Lucy, All systems go. Step 3 on the roll. Ali sent me a text almost right away, Rock it, gurl! Lucy sent me one Sweet as pumpkin pie, hun I smiled to myself and saw Brett looking at me nervously. Was he jea-louss? Thinking that I'm texting another guy? I so got this. Our sundaes arrived and I took a bite, "Mmm." His eyes lit up, "You like it?" Step 4: Lead on "Yes! Totally!" I smiled at him. He looked happy and started to eat his sundae. Step 5: Hard to get. "I'm really enjoying this. I mean, you being such a good friend and all..." I let him dwell on the word friend "Uh-huhh." he looked sad. Wasn't that cute? Step 6: The Past Guys "And well, my ex and I used to share exactly the same sundaes here. Just both of us.." He turned red. Ha. Step 7: Reassurance. "...but I'm with you now, and that's all that matters!" He went back to normal. I grabbed his hand and smiled at him. Yeah, that's how we popular people roll.
