I have a poem, it's about how I thought when I was 8 years old: I am Jacob Stuart Joseph Lucero I am strong and smart I wonder what will happen in the future I hear my mother's beautiful voice I see a dog I am Jacob Lucero I understand that family is important I say God is everybody's father. I dream about homework. I try to help people. I hope I will save people. I am Jacob Lucero. This poem is called I am, made by me.
First place: Veritas "Snow" Second place: Foxy "Boy Drama" Third: Ana "Perfect For Me" Congratulations
You've wrapped me up in a blanket full of love, Then tossed me out in the cold winter night You did not look back and left me there crying, Next thing you know, I'm back in your doorstep knocking You've given me an embrace full of hate You kissed me with those lips entangled with my fate For your doom is now my only option When this grudge I bear comes into fruition There you lay with the woman I hate There you smile with your new found date You may think that these feelings made me mad But on contraire my love, these angst I carry makes me glad One day you will know When the darkness I've shouldered will come to show You will look at me with your mouth open wide 'cause this beast you've created used to be your bride. Topic: Darkness (I think, because the topic has a broad range of things that can be categorized under it. My poem is mainly about the darkness of one's persona when love is taken away...or something like that) P.S. Darkness is under Gothic elements of literature(dark, death, decay and unknown). Just fyi.
I'm going to make an exception and make you a tie with Foxy for 2nd place Great job. Entries are now closed.
