With Daphne and Kat flanking me, I strolled down the hallway, shooting death glares at anyone who even glanced in my direction. I was walked on back when I was normal. But I sure as hell wouldn't let it happen now. Entering the recreation room, I spotted Jason on the couch in front of the television. He smiled and waved me over, raising an eyebrow at Kat and Daphne, who timidly followed. I sat down, and Jason handed me the remote. "Your pick." "Great. The 'I Love Lucy' reruns are on." I said, changing the channel. Jason flinched a little, his eyes darkening slightly at the mention of the show. I pretended to be interested in the dialogue, but in reality, my mind was a jumble of thoughts. If me saying Lucy's name made Jason react like that, what would happen if I asked him questions? "So, let's talk." I said brightly. "About...?" "Anything. I know absolutely nothing about you." "Well, my favorite color's blue, I like tennis, Black Raspberry is my favorite ice cream flavor, I like horror movies, I can't stand dramas... what else do you wanna know?" he responded. "I dunno. Do you have any family back home?" I ask. Jason's eyes grew even darker, and he looked away, glaring at the wall. "No..." "What happened to them?" "I-I'd rather not talk about it." he murmured, glancing at me. I bit my lip, embarrassed at my prying. Jason looked just about ready to cry. Or hurt the one closest within his reach. That would be me. ~ Short update. Bump?
You're welcome~ I mean it though. It's really good...plus you're definitely the first author to have a sequel
