Apocalypse

It was midnight. We were dressed in all black (so nothing new for me) and waiting in a humvee. We were going to take out some kind of control center for the aliens. Each one of us had a separate job. Me and another shape shifter we picked up (Miranda) would fly in undetected about two miles away from our objective. We would try to set charges on the outer defensive technology. Then came ally and Danny who would distract the main fighting force. Then came Makalya, John, and Gayle who would destroy the power center. Each one of us had some military personnel with us except me and Miranda because we were flying. The humvee stopped and me and Miranda exited. She got some of my DNA and shifted into me and I unfurled my wings. We took off and moved in with the humvee behind us. We came in on their defenses and easily set the charges. We saw the humvee and flew up then, my favorite part blew the charge. As soon as it went off I saw the second team deploy. We would help them now that our objective was clear. The soldiers took up position and stated firing I flew down to fight and Miranda followed me down. Ally and Danny were fighting as well doing a great job of protecting the soldiers. Meanwhile team C encountered no resistance at all and had the charges set in ten minutes. They came to our position and told us. Me and Miranda flew off the rest got in the humvee. There was a giant explosion and then we heard reports of the aliens dropping everywhere. Mission accomplished.

 

We stopped the major Earth threat and humanity seemed to be safe. Now what would we do lead normal lives thats kind of hard when u have wings like me. Live peacefully somewhere remote to far fetched. Try to use mutations for show no way. Join military for spec ops I just fought a war why would I do that. I didn't know what to do. But I didn't know the war wasn't over.

So there we were. At a somewhat destroyed hotel in Moscow I was enjoying a chocolate chip waffle when the bottom floor explouded. I heard a scream than saw both the Shea twins be carried off by something I couldn't see because it was moving to fast. I grabbed Gayle, Miranda, and Ally. I saw Vanessa be carried off in the same way as the twins.I flew off holding all three of them and trust me that wasn't easy. We got out of the building and I didn't realize it but I still had a waffle hanging out of my mouth. Then I saw that thing that saved or stole my friends. I instantly flew after it trying to catch it. I cought her and she told me her name was Jade. She was going to help us fight back. Because apperently the war wasn't over.
