Okay I have been having issues sleeping for a long time, months, maybe a few years. I am hoping to get a few sleeping tips or advice. Basically my problem is I go to bed and not know if I am sleeping I am completely aware of everything in my environment.... yet that is all night. my other problem is I never get any dreams I used to when I was a child but I only get a few dreams every few weeks or every month. I miss it. Also i am a light sleeper. other people can post their problems
You should not exercise within three hours of sleeping. Taking naps during the day will make it take longer to fall asleep when you go to bed at night. Doing a task such as studying a boring book may lead to getting yourself tired and falling asleep easier. It is also recommended that you have the same time that you go to sleep and wake up each day of the week. Listening to music can also help you fall asleep if you listen to a calm song. Any song that you listen to that has a lot of energy or is a song that you would like to sing probably isn't a good idea to listen to. I used to have a list of 8 songs or so that I would listen to when I wanted to sleep. All of the songs were calm but I also liked the songs. I also have found success in relaxation apps such as a waterfall app or even a deep relaxation app that has a person talk to you. Try not to strain your eyes at night time before going to sleep. Darkness will dilate your eyes to adjust to darkness but if you are watching a bright screen or checking your phone while in the dark, the bright screen will hurt your eyes because your eyes have dilated to adjust to the dark. Hope this helped.
I dont wanna take pills I just want dreams ... and I was wondering how to sleep easier too, music does help
Try downloading "RELAX MELODIES (Premium Edition)" if ambient sounds and soft music are able to soothe your soul and bring you to a peaceful slumber.
Drink redbull all day like me' then at night u should sleep like a baby' Also u should be able to have dreams if u want! For some reason I can dream whatever I want everynight' I don't know if other people can or not' but!!
Aware of what's happening your dreams? If you were reffering to the above statement, you've had/having lucid dreams. (lucidity) Aware of where you are before you sleep? This may have an effect towards lucid dreams but probably wouldn't affect the fact that you're going to have a dream or not.
i used to have insomnia a couple years ago.. maybe you should see like a hypnotist or psychiatrist to work out your sleeping problems thats what i did
You also have to keep in mind that it takes the average adult 15 minutes to fall asleep. So if I were you I would only do relaxing things for an hour or so before going to sleep. Also once on bed make sure you're relaxed and then just lay there in a comfortable spot with your eyes closed and no reactions. Just try staying calm like I said, and just keep your eyes closed as long as possible without moving. And hopefully you'll have a nice sleep.
I never sleep nowadays and it probably is that u do have dreames but as u wale up u forget about them coz that happenes to me a bit but I get a few prices of s dream but I have to join them together sometimes to know wot I was dreaming about
I sleepwalk. And I talk in my sleep. I've had a conversation with someone before. Friend: are you awake? Me: I'm too tired to be asleep. ...what I say makes no freaking sense. I even started talking about my phone and flowers.
