Hey everyone, Saiyan here, it is Friday November 18th and now for your gaming news: So with Christmas bearing down upon us November is a month in which many new titles for the Xbox, PS3 and PC get released. Many triple A titles have just come out like: Elder Scrolls V:Skyrim, Assassin's Creed Revelations, Modern Warfare 3, the official finished game release of Minecraft, and many more. I for one have brought Battlefield 3, great game, my sort of shooter, I plan on getting Skyrim and AC Revelations, Skyrim looks amazing, with beautiful graphics and hundreds of hours of singleplayer gameplay, this looks like one of the best games of the year. On the topic of Minecraft now, the most successful indie title of all time, I purchased the beta so I get the full game free of charge, it's an interesting genre, being a sandbox RPG focusing on survival and resource gathering. It has a very large modding scene. It was scheduled to release on 11/11/11 but Skyrim was released that week so Minecraft developer Notch moved it backward as competition is too high. It is supposed to be released at Minecon in Vegas. Now the biggie, the First Person Shooter war between Battlefield and Call of Duty still goes on with the brand new release of MW3 and Battlefield 3. Both games are on different sides of the spectrum, Battlefield being an authentic, tactical, team based shooter with vehicle combat added into the mix and MW3 being a 'Run and Gun', action packed, all out slaughterfest. Discussions on which one is best continues to heat up. MW3 is the most successful media release ever, seeking over 700 million copies in the first 5 days. Now normally I'd answer any questions you have right here but seeing as this is the first issue of Gaming News I don't have anything to answer. MW3 has sold more than views that the superbowl gets, it's the biggest media event ever, I don't think Skyrim will outsell it as the majority of Skyrim players are PC gamers whereas MW3 spreads across all platforms
A game that might have slipped is Saints Row the third while it's not as big as GTA series and many consider it a clone, however the missions are whacky and fun worth a shot Batman: Archam City is another fun game however that came out a while ago but is an action packed adventure/action game Last but not least Unchartered 3
