Boo’s News is back! For good, hopefully! I returned the other day but after seeing Hill release Issue 10 of his famous Implosion, it inspired me to bring back Boo’s News. Anyboo, on to the news, and there is a lot of it. Main News Firstly, happy remembrance weekend, I pray and think about those who perished in war. Thank you for giving up your life protecting your country. Where should I start? 0.0 After a recent update from the developers, the response from the public is not a good one at all. I believe the Extra Credit rate has taken a turn for the worse, Dorm prices reduced, Gifts now availabubble, ‘Showcase’ items also availabubble, you can now see your Crew members in their ‘natural’ habitat and PiMD looks a lot different on the whole. A lot of players have been ripped off. Many a thread has been made requesting now overpriced tutors are hired off them by developers. Dorm prices have been reduced, a good thing for me as I am upgrading after resetting... but a bad thing for pretty much everyone else. I don’t mind Gifts as it is quite a happy feeling receiving a gift from a friend and friends you haven’t talked to for a while. I received a lot recently, Zac, Olivia, Warrior, Hayley, Jordan and more! I feel loved. I don’t give a hippo’s bottom about the Showcase items, but I hear they are nonsense. With the Crew members, I am shocked! We were given the idea that they would at least move around instead of standing still looking quite stupid... Anyboo, I am sticking with PiMD because I believe that the developers need money to maintain their 3 applications and create Gangs at War. I hope the legends stay too. Forum News Hill published ‘Weekly Implosion #10. Check it out. It is AWESOMESAUCE. People are preparing for GaW [Gangs at War], clubs or gangs or whatever they call it are being pre-planned. As for myself, I am going to create a gang called ‘The Italian Mobsters’ or something like that with GreenDayLover. Trappatoni. KingKong_LongDong believes that the developers are perverts. 0.0 Check the thread out, it is quite amusing and sheep-related. -Bazzy- is leaving! Never knew him but he seems like a nice guy, make sure to say goodbye to him and leave him a nice gift. The amazing –Couch_Violating_Panda- has created a petition for a better upgrade, be sure to sign it. -Joe- has started the ‘Decide your future’ game. It’s growing and looks quite fun, check it. Club News Personally, I’ma resting at my resting place, ironically. After a while I’ll visit some clubs. Shout out to the following clubs: ~ The PIMD Retirement Village. For those who are pee’d about the new update or just want to relax. Sounds like a good idea. ~ Aire Chain. Serious, war-loving club that is currently at war with The Lovely Sky Club. pWar? Not sure. But when they’re accepting people again, I’d recommend it. Ask for a shout out, I has very little Club News this week. Boo’s PiMD Column Today’s topic: Open Volleys. I absolutely despise Open Volleys on inactives. I never participate unless I’m desperado. I feel horrible that a poor player, who is looking for more money, has to keep a tutor who will never be hired from them, and will never upgrade. I feel even worse when I am the one left with the inactive. An Open Volley is basically a war with a lot of players. You fight so hard to get some hires in early, and then later on, you tell yourself a price you will stop at to make sure you do not keep. If you have less than $100M, you usually don’t have to worry. When volleying higher, you have to be very careful. One unlucky player is theoretically paying to have an inactive tutor. I hate it. What do I hate more? You ask. Players that advertise open volleys on inactives. Why? It makes you a little bit of cash. 29 people, for example, earn money, 1 person loses it. Gr. But what can you do? In times like this, you need cash due to the economic failure. But I’m just warning you, be careful little Open Volleyers. Boo’s Non-PiMD Column Topic for today: Remembrance Day [Veterans Day] I feel deeply about war. My heart breaks when I hear about what happens in war. Many people define ‘Hero’ as someone who saves people. Yes. They are heroes. But so are soldiers. They are fighting for their country, for the protection of their families, friends and everyone living in their country. To give up your life doing this is truly a heroic act. I am reminded of last year, when a group of religious people burnt poppies on this date. I felt so much rage watching the story on the News. These religious people were never charged. Days later, a soldier burnt a Quran and was put in prison. I punched my wall after hearing about this. I have a mark on my fist. Back to the topic, I would just like to give my respect to the families of the soldiers and the soldiers themselves who perished in WW1, WW2, Falklands, Iraq, Afghanistan and every other war. Also, I would like to pay my respect to the families who are related to someone in war currently. I cannot begin to imagine how hard it must be to not know how safe your relative is. Thank-you.
