From the moment Lily opened her mouth she never did quite belong with the others. As long as she was quite they didn't notice her. She seemed average, but her ideas and opinions were too much for this place. She had a small frame big brown eyes that were so dark they were almost black. She had long brown hair usually thrown up into a messy ponytail. Her skin was an olive complection which during the summer time got a beautiful bronze glow about it. Lily grew up in a normal life with abnormal parents that encouraged her to express herself, have an opinion, and use her brain. Lilly's parents had never tried to tell her to fit in or be normal. All they had ever said was do what makes you happy and proud of yourself. As Lily grew and got into high school she began to understand she was meant for greater things than this small middle America town. She had also developed a hate for the people in the world. Not because she was bullied, but because she could see people bending and breaking to others and not truely living for themselves. Mankind was wasting their talents and those that persued the talents they had were beaten down into submission by society. Lily could not understand this nor dis she even want to.
Thanks I'm trying to keep the posts shorter cuz I know it's hard to keep people when you have long posts.
I feel like I'm reading my life...except that hate is too strong a word, though I sometimes dislike my town's population of intellectually and imaginatively lacking "country folk."
