I'm so screwed. As I sit in the car and watch Damen drive, I practically have a panic attack. I have never ditched school in my life. I'm miss goody two shoes and Damen is mister rebel child. I am so screwed, it not even funny. "Are you ok?" Damen asks looking at me. "Am I ok? Am I ok?! Do I look ok?! We are so screwed! I'm freaking out like a maniac! Why the hell did I agree to this?!" I yelled freaking out. "Are you on your period?" Damen asks. That did it. I'm officially pissed. "Why do guys always assume that when a girl is mad, upset, or freaking out they are on their period?" I asked. "Because your acting like a crazy person. I have no idea how to handle you." he said. "Handle me! Am I like a car?! Take me home!" I yelled. Damen looked at me an then looked at the road. He moved to the side of the road and turned the engine off. "I wanna go home! Take me home! Now!" I yelled. Before I knew it, Damen was giving me a kiss. "Please calm down Michelle. I will take you home, just please calm down. And before I take you home, you have to forgive me." Damen said so calmly it was like we never fought. "Yeah, I forgive you." I said. "Ok then, let's get you home. We can do something another day." Damen said as he turned the engine back on.after about a few minutes of pure silence, we arrived at my house.
Damen and I got out of the car. My dad was at work, so if Damen came in he wouldn't get murdered. When we got in the house, I went up to my room and Damen stood down stairs and watched tv. I plopped on my bed and closed my eyes. I heard Damen down stairs raiding the refrigerator. I laid there in pure silence, and before I knew it I was sleeping. It didn't seem like a long sleep, but what seems to be a couple minutes could be a couple hours. I finally woke up to the sound of Damen's voice " Michelle, I'm gonna leave now. I will talk to you later, okay?" "Damen? Don't leave." I said with my voice clearly distorted. "I really have to go do some stuff. How about this, I will be back in a few hours." he said kissing me on the forehead. "Ok Damen." I said and went back to sleep.
