  1. What is this story about anyway

  2. -_- leave. Just leave

  3. Mythology!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I took a college class on it and I'm not even...oh, nevermind!

  4. I kno about mythology ok

  5. What?
I'm just trying to say how much I love this story because it has MYTHOLOGY! No I'm not a pagan.

  6. I quickly rushed up the
staircase, not caring when I twisted my ankle. It was my first day at
a secret location for Demigods, who wouldn't be excited?
    * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - * - *
(This part is by one of my closest friends in whole wide world, Sarah W.)

I stood in the bathroom of our dorm, changing into today's daily
outfit. I was wearing a mini cropped jacket over a tank top and
jeggings, with heart-shaped hoop earrings and high heels, when she
    stormed into the bathroom, angry.
"Did YOU TOUCH THIS?!" Caroline demanded, shaking the Lily Pulitzer
    dress up and down.

"Nope," I said, shaking my head. This situation was so uncomfortable,
for one it was reminding me of how my dad used to treat me, storming
in and blaming me for something that wasn't my fault, then beating me
with a belt til I bled and my flesh was inflamed and infected even
though I was honestly telling the truth...
Oh, and also because I was standing in my underwear. I stared at the
checkered tile on the bathroom floor, my face flushed. Can she get OUT
    OF HERE?

"Then it was that female dog, Ellie. There's a STAIN on it. A STAIN on
my $508 Lily Pulitzer dress." My eyes now focused to the bamboo plant
over the toilet. I glanced up to see Caroline looking me up and down.
"Put some pants on," she muttered to herself, then left the bathroom
and slammed the heavy wooden door shut behind her.

"If you don't want to see it, why don't you KNOCK next time?" I
muttered to myself. One thing you should know is that I find this
whole demi-god thing stereotypical. Even though Caroline, Ellie, and I
are demi-gods of Aphrodite, it doesn't necessarily mean that we are
ALL stuck up, only caring about our appearance. I sighed, and brushed
    my thick black hair.

Once walking down the huge stairwell, I felt a jab in the side of my
stomach. A piercing, annoying jab that only meant my close -to-
brother. Monty. "OW!" I cried out, "Good morning to you too," I said
sarcastically. He laughed. Then I felt a huge shadow running over me,
trampling Monty and knocking him to the ground.

  7. "ALL DAY, EVERYDAY. EVERYDAY, SWAGG!" Nate grabbed Monty from behind
and yanked him down the stairway, his trusty group of followers behind
him. I rolled my eyes and laughed as the scene half fooling around and
half putting Monty in extreme physical pain ensued.

After getting my breakfast in the dining hall and sitting down, my two
best friends, Leila and Miranda joined me. "As I have said many times
before and will say many times in the future, I HATE my roomates," I
    groaned.

"Hate isn't a nice word," Miranda commented, sifting through her Greek
    Alphabet cereal.

"I know but seriously, they don't even know how to..." I looked up to
see Adam's green eyes dart away from mine. As usual, I totally forgot
what I was saying and doing and who was with me and just stared at my
    lap and smiled.

  8. "You're gonna invent some type of body altering spell when you're
older," Adam said, his green eyes staring into mine, with that teasing
    grin on his face.

I laughed like I always do, and he smiled as he does when I laugh at
something he says. "Yeah, it seems cool."

"So you're gonna get to make everyone's (you know what) bigger, eh
Aphro?" He cupped his large hands over his chest and winked at me.
I pushed him into the cream colored wall awkwardly. " You PERV!" I
yelled while half laughing at him.

"Haha, no I'm not," he grinned again. I felt my face turn hot and my
heart race, like it always does when I'm with him. As we walked down
the seemingly endless hallway, the silence was a bit uncomfortable.

Usually Adam was always cracking jokes or insulting me when he was
with me. I wanted to look up at him, but I was scared he'd look down
at me and catch me staring at him. Then, after we rounded a corner, my
already stumbling feet ran towards him, and I accidentally crashed
into his side. I opened my mouth to say sorry, but nothing came out.
Instead, he brushed his hand against mine as I pulled away. My heart
    stopped. Was it an accident..or..?

My heart resumed its pounding as I started rambling. "Yeah well I've
got to go to my cabin because I got work to do and Miranda wants me to
do a favor for her and Leila needs help with her archery which I suck
at anyway so I have no idea why she'd want my help anyway..." I
started running, and turned around and said "Seeya later Adam!"

He waved and smiled. I kept running and ran straight into a girl with
green eyes and honey colored hair, with a certain naiveness to her
face, but at the same time it was combined with sweetness. And cute
freckles. Anyway, at the speed I was running, I pretty sure I did some
sort of damage to her middle.

  9. "Don't, they do this every time. It gets old. Well I gotta run. Bye!"

Sarah disappears through a door on the left. I study the symbols
again, the door in the right has the omega. I feel like I should
knock, but I know this is going to be my home so it'd be strange. I
bite my lip and open the door.

I gasp, it's empty, I'll have a dorm to myself! But that's not what
makes me gasp, the walls are covered in trees and animals that seem to
sway and move. There isn't a bed, instead a large netted hammock hangs
from the domed ceiling. My black duffle bag is sitting on a canvas
bean bag. On top of it is a bow.

In a trace, I pick it up. It's light, and feels like I'm holding onto
air. The wood is a silvery color and the string seems clear. I set it
back down, before realizing my name is carved along the curve. I turn
to my bag and open it, pulling out clothes and putting them in the
bamboo dresser. Soon I'm done with my clothes and all that's in the
bottom of my bag is a notebook.

  10. (and now I hand the mike over to Paigey)

Strangely, I couldn't wait to get to Orphanage 13. I know teenagers
aren't always be thrilled to be dropped off at an orphanage, but I
couldn't be more exalted. This will be first time I've seen Ariana
since 2008. Our mom would never let me see my sister because she said
Ariana was a bad influence on me.

I was told my twin lived with my dad, but I've never believed that
crap. I knew Ariana has been jumping from orphanage to orphanage for
the past six years. I was thankful when our mom got arrested for
selling drugs so I could escape that psycho woman's clutches.
I walked up to the main building, and I saw something strange, an
archery range. Why there was a shooting range at an orphanage, I had
no clue. But then something stranger happened. I swear I saw a tree
move. Not like the wind is blowing it moving, but like it was walking.

"Okay, that's enough hallucinating for one day," I said to myself. I
ran to the building without looking back.
As soon as I got inside, a tall figure in a grey hoodie attacked me
    while he was screaming "Ariana."
"Hey Ariana, I've been looking for you everywhere. Wait, you aren't Ariana."
"No, I'm her twin sister, Paige."
    "Oh. Well, I'm Nate.
"Oh. Well, I'm Nate. Have you seen Ariana lately?" Nate eagerly asked
me. Nate didn't seem like the type of guy who was running around
trying to find a girl. He seemed too "cool."
    "No, I'm new here..."
"Do you know where I could find her?"
"No, like I said I'm new here. I literally just got here." Right then
and there I decided Nate wasn't exactly the sharpest knife in the
    drawer.
"Oh, k then. Bye." And he was gone.

"That was weird. It looks like Ariana has herself a new boyfriend." I
thought to myself. I kept walking. Through windows I could see a
theater, an arena, and a ropes course. Okay, this place is way too fun
to be an orphanage. I started to look at the room I was in. The
ceiling was at least 40 feet tall and showed the weather. The crazy
part, it changed as the weather did. Overcast to sunny. On the wall
there were 15 foot tall portraits. They were of the Greek gods. I
learned about the gods in sixth grade so I could recognize a couple of
them like Zeus and Hera. As I walked around the giant entry hall, I
noticed a boy staring at me. He was short, about my height, and had
the same dark brown hair as me. I walked over to him.

"Can I help you?" I asked him.
"No, it is I who can help you," If I didn't seriously need help right
now, I could've swore he was hitting on me. "I'm Will... Wait hold on.
Are you a demigod? You are one right?"
"Excuse me. A demi-what?" I was so confused

  11. (back to fox with the nightly news)

I was staring at the notebook like it was disease, in fact I thought
of it as one. It was the last gift from my mom. The day I turned 9,
aka the day she drop kicked me from her home, she gave it to me. What
a wonderful duo of presents?! I picked it up wondering how it got in
my bag. I distinctly remember drowning it in a pond at the last
    orphanage.

I was about to repeat the same ritual, but with a bathtub, when I hear
commotion through the open window. A high sweet voice and a deep gruff
one. The deep one that had came out of certain [insert word here] not
to long ago. And the high one I had only occasionally heard on the
    phone.

My heart jumped. My twin, Paige flipping Hetley was here in flesh. I
dropped the book in the tub with an audible splash and raced down the
stairs. I tried to fling open the big front door in a dramatic
fashion, however it weighed so much I only fumbled with the knob for a
    minute before getting it open.

With my luck, Paige had disappeared before I got out there. Leaving me
facing Nate. Automatically I run my tongue across my teeth, smooth my
hair, and cross my arms when a cute(wait! Did I just call him cute.
What has gotten into me?!) guy is talking to me. I put on my best
smile and waved, attempting to walk past briskly. For the third time
in twenty minutes, my luck strikes again. Nate stops me by grabbing
the hood on my black shirt.

I sigh and turn around. My smiley-wavy mood was gone. "Hello Nate,
what can I do for you," I ask with slightly narrowed eyes.
"Well, I was gonna ask if you wanted a guide," he says, I must look
startled or suspicious or something in-between. "You know to show you
    around."
I make a waving motion with my hand and blush a little,"You'd do
that?". If he was gonna offer I was gonna accept. Nate nods his head
    and settles pace beside me.

He points out people, the names register for a minute before flying
out of my brain. I start to look up at the arching trees, my ADHD side
wondering where the squirrels are. A abnormally large, very dark hand
waves in my face. "You alive in there," Nate asks.

"Yes, sorry I was captured by the lack of squirrels," I smirk.
Nate gives me a sideways glance before repeating whatever he said that
I missed, "I heard your the new resident hunter. Would you like me to
    show you the archery range?"
"That'd be great, I just gotta run and get my bow," I pointed to back
    towards the dorms.
"I'll come and we can go through the back entrance."

Nate troops back through the jungle of trees and kids. I follow behind
him, getting odd looks. We must look like quite the pair. A short,
pale girl with watery green eyes and a odd brown-blonde shade of hair
with a tall African-American teen who is built like an ox. I am still
wondering about the squirrels when I run into Nate's back.

He turns around trying, and failing at, not to grin. I roll my eyes.
"You're aware your a klutz right," he asks teasingly while brushing
    hair off my face.
My breath gets caught in my throat, "Thanks for the reminder."

  12. Btw. This is still chapter uno

  13. (the worlds most amazing rapper Miranada)

I pull my hair back into a messy bun. I grab my quiver and bow and walk out of my dorm into the hall. When I reach the archery range, a girl with green eyes and brown shoulder length hair was aiming her bow. She let a silver arrow fly into the target making four bull’s eyes. I watch, waiting for her to notice, but after a couple seconds my ADHD got the best of me.
I walk over, “Hi!” and not knowing what else to do I threw out my hand. She shook it awkwardly. Silence.
“My name is Miranda...yah” I state.
“Ariana,” she said, looking at me for a couple of seconds then turned back to the targets.
I pulled three arrows out of my quiver, line them up and hit the targets. I felt uncomfortable, so i walked away. I could retrieve my arrows later.
On my way back to my room, I met my brothers. They were the only two siblings in this place that looked like each other. Then again, they were the only ones with the same parents. Oh, and they’re also identical twins. Just like our dad and Artemis. Ironic.
“Hey,” Will says, “Wanna come down and steal some food with us?” I nod a yes and we head down the stairs.
With our Apolloesque figures, we quietly glide into the kitchen. I yank out a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Brownie Batter ice cream. I tear the lid off; grab the closest object, a fork; and plunge it into the ice cream then into my mouth.
“You are a terrible ice cream eater,” Mike says. I turn around to find the son of Zeus tsking at me from the door. He takes a spoon and shoves it into my ice cream. “Better?” he asks as I shove more ice cream down my gullet.
“Mhmmm...” I mutter through a closed, stuffed mouth.
“ Have you heard there’s a hunter here, like right now. She could be anywhere on this campus!” Jack says in between hand fulls of Flavor-Blasted goldfish.
I swallow, “Yeah, I met her like 15 minutes ago.”
    “Where?”
    “Is she hot?”
    “Does she have good aim?”
I rolled my eyes, “ In the archery range.”
    “Is she good?” Will questions.
“Yes...but not as good as me!” I laughed.
“But is she hot?” Mike demands like it was the cure for cancer.
“You’re hopeless,” I mutter as I shove the ice cream at his chest and start to walk out of the kitchen.
“You’re the one who’s eating ice cream, like 15 minutes before dinner!” I heard him call.
On my way up to the computer lab, I put my headphones in and turn on some Drake. When I get there, I check iTunes for new songs. It Will Rain and Strange Clouds are the only songs that interest me. I type in the password to Mr. Felten’s account so I could buy the songs: UltimateFrisbee.05; I figured it out seven years ago when I first got here. I sync my iPod then leave.
“First things first, I’ll eat your brains; Then imma start rocking yo teeth and fangs; Cuz that’s that’s what a … monsta do,” I stop rapping as Carrington walks by then I pick back up. “So let me get this straight; Wait, I’m the rookie?; But my features and my shows ten times your pay; 50k per verse no album out.” I stop as I see them. Ariana walking with Nate to dinner.
    ------------------------------------------------
    (chicka chicka pow here's sarah)
I was walking to dinner with the rest of the demigods swarming around me and pushing me from behind like a tidal wave. I pushed my way through the crowd as we ran down the giant stairwell. I saw in between Mike, Jack, and Will. I ran to catch up with her. She, is as usual, jamming out to her iPod without really caring whether people were listening or staring. She was rapping. Monster. Kanye West, Bon Iver, Rick Ross, Jay-Z, and Nicki Minaj.
“50k per verse no album out!”
“AND MY MONEY’S SO TALL THAT MY BARBIES GOTTA CLIMB IT!”
She yanked the headphones out of her ears.“Ha,” she said.
Later in the dinner line, I ran into the new huntress, Ariana. I felt guilty for running off, I’m sure it’s nerve wracking to be new at a school like this.
“Hey. Sorry I was so flustered and kinda ran off earlier. I had a lot of things to do like work and stuff and I was still freaked out from being with...never mind. Sorry, rambling,” I stumbled on my words, smiling apologetically.
“It’s okay..” she replied smiling. “And I could understand that you were freaked out from being with..Adam, is it?” she asked, with a teasing tone to her voice.
I blushed, my chocolate colored skin getting red. Sort of like raspberry chocolate. “Yeah, Adam...”
“You don’t have to say it. You LIKE him.”
I blushed again, turning to look at her face. There was something about her face that didn’t say.
