I got back home and went straight to my room. My heart was still thudding and my head was dizzy. The after effect was unbelieveable! We called each night and hung out. If course i always had time for June and others. I wasn't sure if we were a couple yet but i have a feeling that we are going to be, very soon. It was friday afternoon and i was in the middle of doing my homework when my phone rang. "Hello?" Hello Gorgeous Blake. I'd recognize his voice anywhere. I cant help but repeat to myself that his voice sounded way too similar with Ethan. Thinking of him made my heart ache. Katie...you alright? "Oh yeah i am. Sorry. Got lost in thought" "Okay then. Listen, are you free tomorrow night?" "As a matter of fact, i am" Great! Well i have a special evening planned for us. Dont forget to wear the dress i bought you" I could practically see his grin. He sounded so eager and happy.It fills me up. "Alright!" We hung up and i resumed writing my essay for history. The next day, i was so excited to see him. It took me half of the day to dress up. I wasnt much into dressing up but looking good infront of Blake is definitely worth it. When i came down the stairs to wait for him, i founded my mom crying on the kitchen table. She was gripping a piece of paper. " Mom... Whats wrong?" She looked at me,teary eyed. After looking at me, she burts into more tears. I was so confused. I took the paper from her hands and read it. My heart stopped and i heard myself gasp. I cant believe it. it came back. My mom hugged me and i just stood there in her embrace, feeling utter disbelief and fear. "Theres nothing to be scared of...I promise you. You will be safe" She whispered. I heard the doorbell ring and quickly wiped away my tears. I opened the door and found Blake standing there. He had a wide grin. My heart was aching so much. "Are you ready?" He asked. I nodded and walked out to his car,silently. I refused to meet his eyes. It will give everything away. For the whole ride, i kept my silence. He suspected something was wrong and stopped. "Whats wrong? You're upset" "I-im not" I croaked, not convincing enough. "You're a terrible liar. Come on...Tell me" My heart was going wild and i didnt know what to do. I care so much for him. Its like Ethan all over again. I did what i felt i should. I got out of the car and ran. I knew he was too fast. I knew he was going to catch up. I ran as hard as i could into the forest and into a big clearing. It only took a second until i felt his muscular arms wrap around my waist. His breathing was shallow and steady. I,on the otherhand,was breathless. " Whats going on?! Kate...Please" He whispered, sounding so fragile. This time i let my tears drip. My knees gave in and i collapsed to the ground. He was still embracing me. His scent and warmth surrounding me. "I'm so scared..." He paused and stroked my hair. He effortlessly turned me around so i can face him. "Why? Why are you scared?..." "I-i cant tell you..." He looked at me,very intensely. His fingers found my cheeks and i could literally feel his warmth,trying to calm me down. "Please...I'm so clueless. Tell me Kate... I could help..." "You cant.." "Maybe i cou-" "YOU DONT UNDERSTAND ETHAN!" I shouted as i stood up, realizing i just said Ethan's name. His eyes grew wider. He began to shake abit. We grew silent for a full minute. "How did you know it was me?" He finally said. I gasped loudly. My eyes were growing wider as tears are streaming down my face non stop. Blake...is.... "ETHAN?!" He just looked at me, guilty. "Y-you're.. E-ethannn..." I said trembling. He meet my eyes and nodded. My heart was now exploding. Blake is Ethan and i couldnt believe it. "Ho-How.." I tried to say but for once, my words were stuck. His hands were on both of my cheeks. "Listen Kate Baby...hear me out. Calm down" He began to say. "No! Stay away from me" I hissed, pushing myself farther away. He eyes were getting wet and he was stiff. I probably looked like i was crazy. "YOU LIED TO ME! All these while! I thought...I-i" As shrieked as i trembled. This was not happening. I backed away until i was facing a tree. "I trusted you...I loved you! You played me! You even dared to reach me through a fake identity?!" "Kate...I-i love you! I'm sorry but-" "ENOUGH! I told you! i dont ever want to see your face ever again! You damaged my heart! i wont let you harm it again" "I DAMGED your heart?! Kate...YOU broke up with me...YOU left me! Did you know how hurt i was?!" I couldnt answer. I felt so weak. I was too shocked. My body felt heavy and finally, i collapsed. ______________________________ I decided to finish a bit early. Sorry its very fast forward-ish. I hope its not lame Comments are -ed.
