Chelsea Ugh, I couldn't DO anything! Just because I've never been on some major mission doesn't mean that I'm better than these jerks. "Agent Daniels, get in here! I've got something to ask you!" Chief Cunningham yelled from his soundproof (when the door's shut) office. This sounds promising.
Chelsea I entered the titanium plated office with high hopes. Those hopes were nearly crushed immediately after I had shut the door. "Daniels, your progress hasn't been rising lately. Care to tell me why?" the Chief asked with raised eyebrows. "I-I haven't had mu-much opportunity lately," I stuttered. The Chief was the only person in the history of the world, that made me nervous. "That is exactly why I called you in here!" At this my hopes resurfaced. "I'm giving you a confidential assignment." "Thank you, thank you, thank you Chief!" "Don't make me regret it...You'll need to report to the special lab at eight o'clock, tomorrow." "Okay, I won't let you down!" ------- The next day, at the special lab or C.S.E.(Classified Scientific Experiments) "Wow..." I murmured as I walked through row after row of mental containment units. "Your project will start here, at the research office. I wish the best of luck to you, Ms. Daniels," said the cheery assistant.
Chelsea I stepped into the office and was immediately pushed and shoved through multiple detection devices. So much for an easy ticket. "Come on in Ms. Daniels, and meet your new partner," called an authoritative voice. I strode into the room with a great attitude, that of which didn't last long. Sitting in the chair beside my empty one, was Alice Fey. This girl was a complete loser! She had no friends, boyfriends, or even personality traits. Or so I'd thought.
Chelsea "Hello, I believe we will be working on this project together," Alice said with a smirk. What was with this chick? Did she suddenly create her own personality overnight? "Hi," I barked. "Listen you two! If you don't play nice, then you will both be replaced," shouted the woman behind the desk. "Whatever." "This is a top priority case, an experiment has gotten loose. The subject is near impossible to catch because it can "hear" you coming. The two of you were selected for your ability to move fast and obscure your thoughts." "How would we apply those abilities in this mission?" Alice inquired in a formal tone. "The target can "hear" your thoughts. Also, she would be an Olympic runner if it didn't draw too much attention." "Perfect," I muttered. ------- Alice "Chelsea is such a snob!" I thought, "Why can't she just enjoy the fact that we actually get a real mission?" "Training starts now, so get to it!" the administrator yelled.
Alice Training wasn't too hard, except that I still had to wear this stupid collar-thing. "How do you always catch me?!?!" Chelsea shrieked in frustration. "If you can outrun trackers, you can outrun the target," I replied vaguely. "Whatever!" Sticking my tongue out at her then, probably wasn't the best idea. ------- Chelsea The little brat! I'll teach her a lesson when we're through with all this mission business. "Time for hand-to-hand training, Chelsea!" Alice shouted from the mats. "Finally something I can beat you at!" I exclaimed. Though Alice was fast, she was also very tiny. I thought that would give me an advantage. I was wrong. It's almost as if she read my mind, and KNEW what I was going to do. "Is that really all you got?" Alice asked, smirking. I wiped the sweat off my forehead and whispered, "Just you wait; I'll get you next time..." ------- ??? Alice was doing well, very well. We had thought pairing her up with a concealing person would make it harder, but she was doing fine...for now.
Chelsea We trained and trained, nothing different there. Two weeks later, though, Alice and I walked into the training room to be met by disguise specialists. "Alice Fey and Chelsea Daniels? Follow me," a woman with a name tag reading 'Marsha Williams', instructed. I rolled my eyes when Ms. Williams turned her back, and leaped quietly after her. ------- Alice Though I despise Chelsea, her performance made me giggle. Once inside an unfamiliar room, a team of stylists immediately went to work on us. I became a innocent-looking, schoolgirl. My hair was down in soft curls, and I wore a purple and white cardigan outfit. Deceptive. Chelsea, on the other hand, became a new version of herself. A stuck-up popular with no sense of modesty. I'll just say that I didn't envy her. "These are your new characters," said the fake orange-haired, purple-eyed stylist, "You are to become your character."
Alice Later that week, "Catherine" (Chelsea) and I were shipped off to a small-town high school. I immediately became friends with a quiet girl with a fake sprained ankle (she never told me, but it was obvious to me). I nicknamed her E for the necklace she always wore. Chelsea, though, went straight up to the most popular girl in school, raised her eyebrows disapprovingly, and took over the school. ------- Chelsea I learned a lot from my new followers, but nothing about our target. When we discussed our new information at "home", Alice seemed to have forgotten the mission. Also, I could tell she was holding back information. ------- ??? Ha! The sisters had already met, yet neither knew. Still, they wouldn't give up the information about each other.
