Whispered Words Seldom Heard

Hopefully you've never heard of me. If you have, though, you must be one of "them".
New school= new start, right. I certainly hope so because if not, I'll be captured.

  2. Wish I had started this story off better.

  3. Hmmmmmm
    Hmmmmmm

I had the end of the year jitters. The football team sign-ups were already posted, will I make it?

As I left the school, I saw a girl squatting in the middle of Coach Wallace's beloved track. Obviously, she didn't know that the track was a total off-limits zone. I better warn her.
    -------
The rest of the post will come soon.

  5. Lucas

I parked my fixer-upper on the curb, and climbed over the fence.
"Hey, you!" I shouted as I ran toward the new girl, "You can't be here. It's practically private property."
"What do you mean?" she asked in a quiet voice.
    "This is Coach D's track."
"I know, I'm his track manager."
    "Track manager?"
    "Yeah, I'm the first."
I looked down at her shirt, noticing that it said "Earth with out 'art' is just 'eh'."
"Cool saying," I whispered, running out of things to say.
    "Thanks."

    Erin

This guy pays attention, good thing I'm an A-class actress.
"I need to go..." I said, struggling to my feet, "Stupid ankle."
"You okay?" he whispered worriedly. Wow, he bought it! Though, I did feel kind of sick for deceiving him.
    -------
"Can I help you get somewhere?" I asked uncomfortably.
"Uhh, sure? By the way, I'm Erin," Erin murmured.
I slipped my arm under both of her's, and supported her as she limped to the parking lot.
An idea occurred to me, "Do you have a ride?"
    "No..."
    "Okay, I'll drive."
    -------
    Sorry it's kind of uninteresting.

"Actually, it's okay. I'll just walk...oh yeah," Trying to shrug it off, I forgot my act. I need to get some crutches, they'd be an excellent reminder.
"I will not take no for an answer," Lucas said semi-sarcastically.
"Okay..." I shouldn't get him involved in my life, but what's one car ride?

  7. Lucas

Apparently, Erin didn't trust me enough to show me where she lived. Can't blame her, though, a lot of wackos exist in the world.
"Umm, just stop here, I guess," she muttered so quietly that I almost missed it.
"Okay. So Erin, do you need a ride tomorrow m-" I started before being interrupted by Erin saying "No." That of which, was followed by her deeply blushing.
"Sorry..." she whispered before running off.
    Hmm...wait! How was she running?

  8. Good but.....the post are a little bit to small...why don't you take more time making long updates instead of a bunch of paragraph updates, other than that nice job

  9. Yeah, I know. It's just that between sports, piano, band, math, science, academic bowl, stu-co, 4-H, friends, family, and sleep, I don't have much time to write...

  10. Oh and magazine sales

  11. Then maybe you should just wait until you have a free moment and then just make a big update and do that every week or when ever it fits you don't feel pressured to write

  12. Good idea

  13. Bump. Update tomorrow... hopefully

  14. Erin

Immediately after I started sprinting away from the car, I realized I still had my crutches. Oh well, too late now.
    ---
Even though I told him I didn't need a ride, Lucas showed up at the corner the next morning.
"What are you doing here?" I nonchalantly asked him.
"Since you don't need a ride, I thought you might want a ride," he answered.
    "And you have questions, right?"
    "How'd you know?"
"Everyone asks the same thing, you get accustomed to the basics."
    "Oh..."
    -------
    Lucas

"Well..." I started, "How do you like the school?"
By this question, Erin seemed taken aback. She had, most likely, expected something along the lines of 'What the **** are you?!?!' I'd never ask Erin that, she's too sweet.
"Umm, i-it's okay," Erin stammered as she slid into the passenger seat.
    "Cool."
    -------
    Erin

Lucas and I then agreed to this unsaid deal. If he drives me to and from school without asking personal questions, I let him know another new fact about myself. I, for one, adored the arrangement.
    -------
    ???
We were the "new kids", but really we were just watching them. Don't get involved in Erin's life, stupid people.
