You're One of Us

Calum quickly dropped Aly on the ground across from Adam and stood next to her. Aly looked at the ground and took deep breaths as more bruises formed on her body. She hoped so much that Zane was ok. He was the last person she had left, and the last person she knew wasn't a traitor. Adam calmly pulled out his black cane and hit Aly. "You will look at me when I speak to you!" Adam yelled suddenly. Aly slowly looked up and sighed. She glanced at Calum and saw Cody's gun pointing out of the back of his pants. She quickly looked back at Adam and stared into his dark eyes.

"I'll join you..." she whispered suddenly. Calum quickly grew wide eyed and looked at her quickly. A huge grin came on Adam's face and he walked around Calum and Aly slowly.

"You want to be one of us, huh?" Adam said as he hit Aly with his cane. She slowly nodded and looked to the ground again. Just a few more steps... And then the plan will go in action.

Adam slowly turned to the edge of the roof and stared at the field below. Aly quickly took a deep breath and lunged for the gun in Calum's belt, and pulled it out and aimed for Adam. "Goodbye Adam..." Aly whispered as his face grew absolutely shocked. Aly immediately pulled the trigger and a bullet flew through the air and hit Adam's forehead. He soon fell backwards and fell off the roof in what seemed like slow motion.

Calum stood there, emotionless. Aly slowly backed away and pointed the gun at him. "You do know it's not over... Even if you kill me and him. They're will always be another leader and followers. They will never stop Aly" Calum whispered as he moved closer to her. "You're special Aly... Probably capable to be the most powerful person in this world! They want YOU and they will NEVER stop!"

Her face grew angry and she shot the gun at his stomach. Calum quickly yelled out and fell to the ground, staring at Aly. "I still love you..." he mumbled as he held his bleeding stomach in pain.

Aly quickly moved closer to him and brought her voice to a whisper, "I will NEVER love you Calum!" he quickly smiled and shrugged. "You're a psycho!" Aly yelled as she backed up.

 

Aly slowly took a deep breath and dropped the gun as her hands shook. She swore that she heard sirens in the distance and her heart began to beat fast. She heard a door open behind her and she suddenly turned around. Zane stood at the door, staring at Aly. "Oh my gosh..." he wispered as they both ran for eachother.

Zane took off sprinting and looked and saw Calum crawling behind Aly, who was running towards him. Zane saw Calum grab something and fear came to Zane's eyes. "ALY!!!" Zane yelled at he ran faster across the flat roof. She stared at him confusingly and kept running. Calum raised the object in his hand and aimed for Aly. Zane kept screaming and ran faster and faster.

Aly came so close and Zane finally reached her and she fell into his arms. He quickly turned Aly around and a loud shot went off. Pain entered Zane's eyes and Aly stared horrified at his face. He quickly fell to the ground with her and Aly grabbed his face. "Zane?!" Aly cried out suddenly as he screamed in pain. She quickly glanced at Calum and he finally dropped the gun and fell to the ground, dead. She looked back at Zane and began crying. "NO!!!" she yelled as he grabbed his face harder. "No no no! Please Zane!" Aly yelled loudly. Zane smiled sweetly and grabbed her hands.

"It's ok Aly..." he whispered as his shirt became soaked in blood. "I saved you. You need to live sweetie" Zane said as he sqeezed her hands. Aly began crying her eyes out and put her head on his chest.

"No Zane! You and me were going to leave this place, we were going to get married and have kids... We were going to rule the world!" Aly yelled as she looked into his beautiful green eyes.

"Aly... It's my time to go. You need to live your life. Do something with it. Aly you need to know," Zane whispered as he grabbed her tear soaked face, "I love you... And I ALWAYS will. Don't you dare ever forget that."

Aly cried loudly and kissed his cheek. "I love you so much Zane..." Aly whispered.

"Please Aly, please will you kiss me one last time?" Zane asked suddenly as he choked slightly. Aly slowly leaned forward and grabbed his face and kissed him passionately. He slowly ran his hand through her blonde hair and over her back as blood raced out of his wound. He opened his eyes slowly, and looked at her beautiful blue eyes one last time. "I love you..." he whispered as he grabbed something in his jacket pocket and closed his eyes and became unresponsive.

S.W.A.T. teams and police men flooded the school and gun shots went off. The dead bodies piled up, and everyone finally noticed so many kids and adults died. Teenagers were quickly gunned down and cuffed immediately. No officer had ever seen something like this.

Classroom by classroom was released and young teenagers soon raced out of the building to safety. Many teens were still missing, and most likely the outcome would end badly. Police began questioning aduts and students and they soon figured out that no one knew why all this was happening.

Room by room, closet by restroom, every place was checked, and more more bodies were found. A young man was found in a hallway, fighting for his life as a bullet was lodged in his spine. More and more people were found and this day started to become one of the worst in history for the state. Reporters and helicopters soon flew over the school and it became hectic once again.

 

Aly sat by Zane, holding his cold dead hand while crying uncontrollably. Inside his right hand was the necklace he had bought for her years ago, showing the first signs of their love. Nothing was left for Aly now... No love, no life, no happiness, just pure hatred. Helicopters flew above her, shining cameras on anything they could catch. The door suddenly burst open and Aly grabbed onto Zane as men filled the roof with guns.

"Ma'am, you need to come with us..." one of the men said as he grabbed her arm. Aly quickly pushed him away and held onto Zane.

"Don't you dare touch me!" Aly yelled as she kicked away one of the men. She clutched the necklace in one of her hands and more tears flooded down her face.

"Sweetie... You're safe!" one of the officers yelled as more men grabbed her arms. Aly quickly pushed them away and screamed at the top of her lungs, telling them to get off her. They began dragging and pulling her away from Zane as she fought back. "GET OFF ME!" she yelled as he punched one of the men. She elbowed and kicked everyone and everything and kept coming back to Zane's body.

"He's dead!" a S.W.A.T. member yelled as he grabbed Aly's waist. Anger flooded through her body and she screamed louder and louder.

"He's not dead! He can't be! He's not dead!!!" she screamed over and over again. Men soon grabbed hold of her and began dragging her away from Zane. Aly reached for him and cried loudly. "Zane!!! ZANE! I won't leave you! I pomise!" Aly yelled as more men grabbed her and held her down. She was soon cuffed and they picked her up and she kicked and jolted everywhere possible. "Get your hands off me!" Aly yelled as they pushed her through the roof door. "Please! NOOO!" her screams echoed through the filled halls.

 

Kids watched Aly, who was covered in so much blood, literally carried out of the school. Everyone was traumatized just by hearing her sad screams for Zane. People feared the worst, as they couldn't find any of their friends or loved ones. People stood aside as Aly kicked, elbowed, screamed, yelled, doing anything possible to get away. She was soon pushed against the lockers attempting to control her. She calmed down slightly and they turned her around, which was the worst mistake possible. Jake, Gabby, Charlie, Calum, Cody, Michelle, Zoey, so many other familiar faces and her love Zane were being carried out on stretchers.

Screams filled the entire school as everyone cried horrifyingly, incluing Aly. She slowly slid down the locker and sobbed as the policemen stared in shock at all the bodies. Cameras soon flashed and the policemen quickly chased down the reporters. Time seemed to stop for Aly as she stared at the wall across from her. Everyone moved, but she couldn't make herself budge. She felt like she couldn't breathe, and she felt like her heart was ripped out. Nothing was left for her. People tried coming to her and talking, but she was unresponsive. She was finally dragged out of the school and cameras flashed in her face as reporters questioned her. No answers escaped her lips and she stared at the ground in pain and sadness.

Aly was suddenly pushed into one of the police cars and it took off before the door even closed. Her mind was spinning and she couldn't think. Nothing right was happening, and everything for her was gone. She had no one left in her life. No one.
