Jane stood at the edge of the ocean. She could feel the cool spray of the ocean as it clung to her tan skin. The sun just begining to break in the horizon was making the ocean look more like glass. Then the sun started catching the flicks of red in Jane's auburn hair as it rose higher in the sky. She began to run along the waters edge. Jane's body looked like it belonged at the ocean every slight curve of her thin frame seemed to command the current to her. She moved as if she was floating off the earth and commanding everything to stand still except the tide coming in. The tide began washing over her bare feet and seemed to be the only thing holding her to the earth. Jane stopped running and the earth seemed to move again. Jane had ran along the ocean many times in her life. This seemed to be another run, but she knew this one was different because it would be her last. Jane had been accepted into a college where there was no ocean. On the walk back home Jane began thinking of her past and her present. She knew she would never be back to this place. Her parents had died some time ago and she was being raised by a guardian named Angie who found Jane a rather strange child growing up. Angie through time had left Jane alone and stopped trying to get her to be like the other children. Jane knew from the age of seven that she was different and she did not care as to what others thought of her. Jane remembered a conversation she had with Angie when she was ten. Angie had asked her, "Jane why don't you play with the other children." Jane replied with complete confidence, "because they are boring. They always play the same games. They refuse to play anything different or no reason at all." Angie looked at Jane and asked, "don't you want the other children to like you? Don't you want to fit in? It's quite simple to play along with them." Jane answered simply, "I do not care if the other children like me, or if I fit in. I rather not play along with children when what they are playing something I find boring. It is a waste of my time, and I'm not going to pretend I like them." All of a sudden a car drove by breaking Jane's thoughts of her past. She walked into town to Angie's house and climbed th steps of the front porch and sat down on the stoop. At that moment Angie was coming to the door and she saw Jane sitting there. She knew she should feel sad that this child would no longer be in her house but all she could feel was relief and happiness. Angie had grown to almost hate Jane. She knew why but refused to admit it to herself. She hated her because she could never be a free as Jane is. She could never not care as to how others perceived her and only care about herself and what she thought and wanted.
Jane walked into her dorm room with her few belongings. Her few things were clothing a computer with massive amounts of music on it. She didn't have pictures of friends or family like the other freshman. She was also one of the only ones that was alone. She sat her things down on her bed and spent 5 mins setting up her room. Just then there was a knock on the door. Jane opened the door to be greeted by an overly bubbly person. "Hi, my name is Sally Decon." Sally then leaned in and gave Jane a hug. "You and I are going to be such good friends...well what's your name." Jane taking a step back polietly said my name is "Jane Anderson, and in about a day you will not like me. You will keep trying to be my friend for as long as you're around because that's you're type of personality. You will tell others when I'm not around how freaky and strange I am." Sally's expression changed to shock then she nervously laughed and regained her composure. "No, I won't silly. What a funny joke. I'm going to like you." Sally knew that everything Jane said was true she had even done that with her best friends. Sally not know what to say asked the classic college go to question "So Jane what is your major?" Jane simply replied "I am pre-med." Sally not knowing what else to say said "Oh, that's nice. I am going to be a teacher just like my mom. She wanted me to be a teacher since I was little. I got all A's in high school and did really good on the ACT so my college is completely paid for." Sally stood there waiting for a response after a long silence of what seemed like forever. Jane finally said "Ok, well I'm going to go eat by myself." Then Jane left and went to the cafeteria she scanned her student ID and grabbed something to eat. She sat down at a small booth by herself. She looked up and a jock came up. "Hey, you're new and might I add very sexy mind if I sit with you?" Jane coldly looked at him and said, "I do not waste my time with morons please step away and finds yourself another bimbo to creep all over." Jane bent her head down and continued eating. The jock stood there and could see all his friends staring at him. He grasp Janes arm and leaned down and whispered in a gruff voice "You think you're so clever don't you. I'll make you pay for this." All of a sudden someone put his hand on his shoulder and said "obviously mongoloid this girl wants you to go away. She is not interested in who you think you are." Jane looked up to see who this person was. He had blonde hair, was toned, and had a strong face. She looked into his eyes and became very lost. The world fell down and it only seemed like they were the only ones in the world. "I said my name is Ethan Davis." Jane felt her face become hot "sorry my name is Jane Anderson." Ethan looked at Jane and saw her beauty but saw something more. He new he found the one person in this world that could match up to him. He wanted her and knew she wanted him. They sat there in silence for the next ten minutes having a conversation without saying a word to each other. Finally Ethan asked "you want to come hang out with me?" Jane simply nodded her head in response. She didn't even feel like she had a choice of if she could go with him or not. He took her hand and led her to the male dorms they walked in silence as he made it to his room. He closed the door and Jane said "I'm not normal, but I figure you know that. I don't have friends or care for people." Ethan stepped closer to her with a smirk on his face and simply nodded his head. *Want more keep it bumped*
Ethan grabbed Jane and pulled her close to him with his face and hers inches apart he whispered "I've waited for someone like you." With that single statement Jane felt her body become weak. She felt Ethan's strong hands wrap around her waste supporting her as she felt his lips on hers. His left hand moved to cup her cheek as they continued to kiss. His fingers slowly moved a piece of hair out her face. He then began to kiss her neck. This new sensation sent chills through her body. Jane did not feel like herself anymore. She felt herself becoming one with this person she barely knew, but felt like she knew a life time. Jane became jerked from her thoughts as Ethan picked her up and carried her to the bed. Slowly he began to take her t-shirt off. Jane's reaction was to fight it as she struggled he pinned her arms down. Without saying a word looked into her eyes and she became still. She knew she did not want to fight this, but she also didn't know what to do. As Ethan continued to take off her shirt she breathed as this man kissed her in a way no one else had. She let out a slight moan which caused Ethan to rip her clothes off. What happened next was not just an act. It was as if their minds and bodies had become one. ----------------------------------------------- Writers notes: If you've ever connected with someone more than physical you'll understand this part.
