  3. Chapter 4: Man Talk

    Declan ate quickly and began to wander around the mansion they were all in. He checked every room, attempting to find his father. Soon, Declan came to a library room with a circular desk in the middle. The lights were dimmed and it smelt like old, musty books. Declan was quickly pulled inside the room and he readied himself to kick some ass. "Whoa whoa! I mean no harm tough guy!" Damon yelled as he backed off from Declan calmly.

    Declan quickly took a deep breath and looked into Damon's dark eyes. "What do you want?" Declan asked quickly.
    "I want to get to know my son... It's been 25 years and you are not an infant now, you are a grown man. I want to get to know you. Catch up I guess... I waited more that 10,000 years for a kid and dammit I'm going to get to know you if you like it or not." Damon said as he walked over to Declan and slid down the wall calmly. Damon calmly patted the floor and Declan slid down the wall just like Damon.
    "Well there isn't much catching up to do... I was trapped inside a room for 25 years with only darkness and a tv. I had no mirrors, no friends, no family... Absolutely nothing. Just a few hours ago I figured out that I had a twin sister, an unknown family, and also that I'm the son of Immortals. Not every kid is used to that you know? I have absolutely no clue what the hell is going on. Are you positive you have lived over 10,000 years?! You don't look a day over eighteen!!!" Declan applied quickly.

    Damon took a deep breath. "Immortals stop aging when they reach the age of 18... You and Elena obviously share that trait." tears came to Damon's eyes for a split second. "If you honestly don't believe I am your father just look at me as a friend. Over time I'll prove it to you. I'll transfer some of my memories to you, just for help and knowledge of what is happening. The world has changed and I have to figure out your abilities with the help of Alexandra..."

    Declan quickly took all of that in. "Abilities?" he asked quietly.

    "Yea... You know if you can fly or any of that wierd crap. Like super powers I guess." Damon answered as he sat up.

    "What's your power... Or powers? If you don't mind me asking, erm... Dad?" Declan asked awkwardly. Damon quickly helped Declan up and smiled at him.
    "I'll show you all of them soon." Damon said as his eyes flashed red for a split second and an image of a tree burning filled Declan's vision.
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Declan walked out the room having a feeling he knew possibly two of his father's powers. He felt happy for once in his short life. "This is going to be good life for now on..." he mumbled to himself as he walked to the bedroom he was in earlier that day.
  11. Chapter 5: Training
    "Well... First thing first! We need to know what you can or can't do" Alexandra stated demandingly while crossing her arms. She walked closer to Declan and stared into his piercing eyes.
    "Why are you training me and not Dad?" Declan asked suddenly. Alexandra quickly grinned and shrugged.
    "Damon is more of the battle of the brains guy... I'm more of the 'touch me you die' person. Besides, I'm much more powerful than you think. You will learn all the battle techniques from me!" Alexandra answered quickly as she moved closer to Declan. "Alright Declan..." Alexandra quickly mumbled, "I want you to try to punch me as hard as you can. Trust me, I won't be mad. I want to see how hard you can punch.
    Declan stuttered for a bit and Alexandra glared at him. Declan quickly took a deep breath and clutched his fist. He quickly drove it back and shot it forward, and suddenly he stopped, right where Alexandra's face was supposed to be. He was quickly pushed on the ground from behind, and came to a loud thud. "Rule number one: Trust No One..." Alexandra stated rudely. She quickly spun around and kicked Declan in the face. "Rule Two: Know Your Enemy!" Alexandra yelled as she kicked Declan's face again, "Rule Three: Know The Enemy's Moves!"
    Alexandra quickly swung her leg towards Declan's face once again, and as she struck his face, a bolt of electricity shot through her body. She fell to the ground quickly, and looked up and grinned at Declan. "Know your enemy..." Declan wispered softly as he helped Alexandra up.
    "That's enough for today..." Alexandra mumbled softly as she punched Declan's shoulder. "Go rest and I'll see you and your sister at dinner" Alexandra yelled as she walked inside the mansion.
  14. Chapter 6: Surge
    "But Damon! I swear he has great power... I felt it surge through me when I made contact with him!" Alexandra said calmly as she looked into Damon's eyes. "He's powerful Damon, and you know he is..." Alexandra wispered as she ran her hand down his chest.
    "Elena is powerful too... She shares my ability of sharing memories. I think she might hold one of the elements just as you hold ice and I hold fire. I think she might be able to teleport through the air and wind... Over time I can strengthen their powers, and so can you" Damon wispered as he wrapped his arms around Alexandra.
    "I hope they are ready and don't think this is all too sudden..." Alexandra wispered quietly as she smiled softly at Damon.
    "I'm pretty sure we've been through way worse..." Damon wispered as he moved closer to Alexandra's lips. Alexandra slowly met his lips and Damon quickly pushed her against the bedroom wall. Damon slowly slipped his hands through her coat and ran his hands over her hips.
    Alexandra moaned softly as Damon's warm lips kissed her neck. He slowly moved his lips back up to her own lips and their tongues danced. He slowly ran his hand under her shirt and Alexandra moved with his hips. "Damon..." Alexandra moaned softly as she broke the kiss.
    "Yes...?" Damon wispered as he nibbled on her ear. Alexandra quickly rested her head on his warm shoulder.
    "I don't think we should do this tonight..." Alexandra mumbled as she slipped away from Damon's arms. She quickly walked to the restroom leaving Damon.
    Damon quickly sighed and slid down the wall. "Fuck this..." Damon mumbled as he held his face in his hands. He quickly stood up as he smelt the rug underneath him burning. "Dammit!" Damon yelled as he stormed out of the bedroom.
