THEME#2 FROM THE DEPTHS IGN: Hiyuki āā±ą¼»š„øą¼ŗā°ā My interpretation of āFrom the Depthsā is about looking into the deeper parts of our past. The memories inside the cup represent moments from different stages of life that shape who we become. The girl touching the water symbolizes looking back on those moments, while the small crack in the glass represents the struggles we carry along the way. Even with the crack, the cup continues to overflow, showing how memories and experiences keep building up despite the difficult moments. The baby at the bottom symbolizes the beginning of life and how far we have come since then. Spoiler: PROCESS

This is my first time painting so Iām not really good at it. I just borrowed the acrylic paints.

We often associate drastic changes in someoneās appearanceāwhether itās cutting long hair into a bob or dyeing it a bright redāwith something deeper happening in their personal life. Itās as if a change in hair is more than just a change in appearance; itās a reflection of something shifting or releasing within us. With this idea in mind, I decided to create an image of a nude woman to represent vulnerability, Her hair flows endlessly. Her right arms bears a tattoo of a compass to show the idea of her navigating through lifeās ups and downs. I chose to draw deep-sea creatures, which only live in darkness, as a representation of the depths of memories and emotions that we, as humans, can feel and experience.
