It’s frustrating to see new players already receiving their refunds while many of us who have been playing Pimd for years are still waiting. We’ve invested so much time and effort into the game, yet it feels like long-time players are being left behind. It’s especially disappointing to see newer players moving ahead of us while we’re still waiting for the rollout. On top of that, we’re losing tutors because we don’t have enough cash to reclaim them, which makes the situation even more frustrating. I just hope the long-time players who have supported PIMD for years won’t be forgotten. We’ve invested so much time, effort, and support into this game, and we just want to feel like our time and effort are being valued too. 🥲🖤
Ngl as a long time player of pimd I feel neglected asf cause why are all these ppl jumping from tiny stats to Hella stats when I worked really hard to get to where im even at now your telling me the latest imma get it is at halloween ppl keep telling me be patient ull get the update but why sould I be patient when its obvious that ud rather help your new players rather then your old ones when were the reason why this game is still up and running I for one am thinking about just quitting its not worth it to me no more.
Just casually losing my overall ranking by a whole 3000 places and counting. Seriously this roll out of yours is ruining a lot in the short term. The dev team should SERIOUSLY prioritize this instead of scatter braining cash grabs. Fix your shiz and then continue with the money grabbing. :/
Exactly this! We've been keeping the lights on for the game all these years. Zero consideration put into this change. The tutor market and the hundred of dollars spent up until this point feel like a fart in the wind
A friend said, "Just wait for the update, it will be the same outcome anyway, except it's being done per group. Please be patient”. Now I’m just thinking. which group do I even belong to? First rollout, I wasn't there. Second rollout, still nothing. Haha. My patience is already running as thin as a thread. Of course, patience is a virtue, so I’m trying to stick with that principle. But my goodness. The disadvantage is that you lose your tuts because everyone else has already upgraded. Their stats have completely surpassed yours. You don't have enough cash to bump them back because they're force-bumping. How are you even supposed to win them back? So yeah, nothing. just left empty-handed. To top it off, your friends keep asking: "Did you get a refund yet? Have you upgraded? Look at me, I My stats are so high now." All I can tell myself is, "It's fine. Our time will come." I just really hope ATA drops the update soon. I miss being able to hold onto the tuts I worked so hard for, and I just want to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with everyone again instead of watching from behind. Please, ATA. let our turn come soon.
at this point, imma stop feeding the apes with buying Molly promos and subs. 🦍💸 You want us to keep opening our wallets while some of us are STILL sitting on the old system watching updated players enjoy their refunds, upgrade their crews and grow ahead of us? Nah. My wallet is joining the rollout too — staggered indefinitely. 💀 Funny how Dorm Tower updates need weeks of patience, but somehow Blueprints, Lucky Boxes and things for us to spend on never seem to have rollout problems. 👀 The Rebalanced Care Pack was cute, but it didn't give us equal progression. I shouldn't have to burn promo cash doing solos just to bump tutors and maintain what I already have while updated players use theirs to actually GROW. They got progression. We got compensation for waiting. Those are not the same thing. So until the rollout catches up, the spending can wait too. You stagger the update, I'll stagger my wallet. 🦍✌️
Tldr. Was inactive for few weeks and now this update, can someone please summarize what happened ??? Utterly confused tbh.
The lack of response and meaningful updates regarding this issue is deafening. At this point, I’m starting to doubt that your “before Halloween” target will actually happen. Seriously, if you had already foreseen this issue arising once the rollout commenced, why announce the update so early or release it to only a specific group of players while leaving the rest waiting for almost two months? It honestly feels like we’re begging for an answer that you can’t—or simply won’t—provide. And it really shouldn’t be this difficult to give the community a simple, straightforward update such as: “Please expect an official announcement from us on September 22 regarding the second rollout. For now, our development team is continuously working to resolve the current bugs affecting players who have already received the update. Rest assured that we hear your concerns, and we are working hard to deliver the update as promised.” How hard would that have been? We’re not asking for an exact release date if one isn’t available. We’re asking for transparency, communication, and some indication that our concerns are actually being heard.
Not to throw a spanner in the works of everyone here, but I’ve been playing over 14 years, and I got the update this week, so it does happen for older players (I was 52mcs for reference, so pretty small). ATA is not purposefully excluding you from the update, I promise 🙏 When they say ‘random’ they mean random, and not “everyone except that one player because screw them”. I know it’s exciting to see how much you can grow, and frustrating to wait for it, but it will come soon enough (and then you’ll be mad about plunder and rewarded ad changes). Hang in there, guys! 💚🙏
I have stopped my monthly subscription and will not spend another dime until this update issue is resolved.
ALSO!!!! This is not a little tweak or bug fix - this is a major economy change that has the potential to affect so many aspects of the game. It’s not just about balancing player stats - think about what it means for all the existing systems in the game if all the players suddenly doubled in size.. I’ve seen a few people mention that a beta test was done so ATA should have been able to roll it out fast, but a beta test still couldn’t give as much info as a live rollout. This slower rollout will give the devs more info on those systems so they can be adjusted as needed once everyone is updated. They might be working on adjustments already based on the data they’ve gotten from those who have the new dormmates.
With the pace of this roll out, i doubt everyone will get the update by BF considering a lot of 50-100mcs players still haven't gotten theirs. By this speed, the end game players will prolly be next year lol
I appreciate your stance, however the biggest issue is lack of communication on ATA's part. MODs and DEVs see the forum posts. Yet, crickets.....
The Moderators are not any indifferent to us, they aren't getting the privilege of getting the update before us, nor do they know what is going on behind the scenes. They do not work for ATA, just worth noting. So a mod responding to these issues is no different to me responding to you. That being said.. an update from ata is crucial at this point as, once again, a large group of people have been left in the Dark about what is happening next and when we should expect it. And If they have any resolutions for the indifference that is currently being felt through the gameplay.
