what is the cut off for mid-game stats? 100mcs? 200mcs? At what point do we become late to end-game status? Thanks 😊

To answer the confusion about how the rollout is being rolled out, especially when players with higher stats notice players with lower stats getting access before them or vice versa. We want to clear up exactly how this works behind the scenes!

To ensure stability and balance, we split all players into 4 major cohorts based on stat progression:

1. Cohort 1: New Players
2. Cohort 2: Early-to-Mid Game Players (Our largest player bucket)
3. Cohort 3: Late Game Players
4. Cohort 4: End Game Players

Why is a higher/lower stat player getting converted before me?
Right now, we are actively rolling out the update to Cohort 2. Because this group is so large, we are releasing it to Cohort 2 in randomized percentage phases:

• Phase 1: 20% of Cohort 2 (Randomly Selected)
• Phase 2: Expanded to 50% of Cohort 2 (Randomly Selected)
• Phase 3: Remaining 100% of Cohort 2
  

If a player with higher stats got converted before you, it simply means you are both in Cohort 2, but they happened to be selected in the random 20% or 50% draw. Stat rank within the cohort doesn't change your odds; it's purely down to the random selection for that phase.

Any compensation for players without the dorm update who didn't get the 2x payout pack over the promo weekend who also opened tickets and were told were already upgraded who are now left in the lurch with no promo bonuses and many of whom wouldnt waste resources because they were not best spent when their power could grow as much as tenfold by Monday evening (if all goes well)?

I appreciate finally getting a more detailed description on how this is working. But instead of still using early-to-mid, mid, or late game players, can you also give us MCS ranges for each one so- asking once again- people know which range they'll be part of?🌝

This would literally answer the main question everyone has been asking ATA: "can we know what range we fall in?"

I never received any promotion or any 100% cashout or cp at 10,000 , or dorm tower update.. I guess I'm not the only one with this and I hope ATA check on this..

 

I appreciate finally receiving a more detailed explanation about everything happening. I didn’t know the current group was broken into three tiers based on the percentage of players in that group. That would’ve been nice to know from the start.

I appreciate that a dev is addressing our question about what this update is based on (stats, dorms rented, years played, etc.) It helps knowing that it’s stats alone and not anything else. I’ve heard plenty of people say it but it’s nice hearing from a dev.

Especially bc I wondered if maybe I wasn’t receiving it due to other factors besides stats, but nothing was making sense bc I am 32mcs with 40 dorms rented and 2 years under my belt here, so I wasn’t sure what else would be causing me to not get the update yet. Turns out it was random assignment and I am probably going to be part of this last wave.

I also appreciate that we have a solid date to look forward to so we don’t all just log on and everything is different all of a sudden.

Though I do agree w who said that a kcs/mcs range for each group would be nice so we know which stat bucket/ group we all fall into. Especially for the late and end game players bc they still aren’t getting the update yet.

I do also wish the other two groups had the same treatment and also got an estimate on when they might get their part of the update, bc they’re looking forward to it just as much as the rest of us are.

I know if I was them, I would defintely want to have more info. But thank you for the info we did get.

 

Also when I say it would’ve been nice to know from the start, I mean it would’ve been nice to know that’s what you decided to do with the early to mid game group after the first delay (or whenever you made the decision) cuz that wasn’t the original plan from what I remember when the initial announcement was made.

 

When will final upgrade be released.

Can we strictly get news and game updates from Winston for now on? Princess treatment in a few hours by Winston vs a few months by that who shall not be named (I’m also not over the iZelda comment 🙂‍↔️).

 

At 169mcs will I get the update Monday or have to wait another month? What is the stat cut off? Will the “late” and “end game” players also be split into releases or will we actually get ours all at once?

If I need to wait, will you be giving out another rebalancing care pack that expires when the next dorm tower updates release for the rest of us?

 

Thank you for explaining a lot more. May I suggest in the future, we put this in the very first post about an update rollout? (Other than the obvious- which would mean no rollout and just have beta testers who volunteer until you get to the final product)

People are still asking what the MCS range is, and while we do love the information you have given us, we would all really appreciate more transparency on what the mcs range is that categorizes new, early to mid, late & end.

We just don't know if we are in cohort 2 or not. I understand you put that is the biggest bracket of players, but what is the exact mcs number? Because there seems to be a lot of people who are late game & end game but they aren't getting the answers they REALLY need.

I understand you guys probably are not willing to give this information out at this point as it has been weeks and weeks of non-stop asking about it. So next time, you guys need to figure out a way of being transparent and telling people the truth right away instead of tugging us ALL along like this.

There are people who can beta test new stuff and all of that, so utilize them. Utilize those people who volunteer to deal with bugs and glitches and mess-ups so that this situation NEVER happens again.

For the top dogs of the company: It is so embarrassing how this has been handled for weeks and whoever is on top pulling these very flimsy strings should REALLY be ashamed of themselves. Because at this point, PIMD is just a cash-grabber for those tops dogs, and not a game made FOR their players. The people who have been playing 12+ years and have possibly spent THOUSANDS of dollars/pounds etc. So instead of only thinking about how you get your next oaycheck, you should be thinking how you can make your players happy. Happy players = more money. Otherwise some of these tops spenders will keep leaving and leaving until nobody wants to give you any money anymore because you are ruining your own game.

That’s not how it’s worded at all tho! Based on the wording in the post, it should be by age of acct. if it was by stats, why didn’t yall say the stats??

 

This still doesn’t suggest it’s based on stats. By wording “early players. Late players, etc” if it is truly based on stats then why not give stat ranges? My rs and I started these accts the exact same day! I’m at 140mcs and he was just at 50mcs but he got the rebalance the last wave. It’s like yall are saying a lot without saying anything at all…if it was based on stats then you should’ve worded it that way.
