May i ask ??? for what is this PIMD black out issue. I don't understand. Can some one please explain.. 💭💭💭
Well written, good cause +1. But why these dates specifically? What happens after this week then? And when ATA Day/Black Friday begins? People go back to spending their whole paycheck…? Which nulls this whole blackout. Idk, it’s really funny seeing multiple bbbs on waitlist for the coming weeks… and we wonder why things will never change…
Coz the devs have made alot of changes to the game that are pritty much a massive fuck you to the players who built the community and game to where it was. And people are angry about it. But not angry enough to stop spending during a time where it would hit ata the most coz they dont want to miss out on the things. They made a app update purely to raise the prices of everything. They have opened a invitation to kids onto this game that is designed for adults which is stupid and dangerous. They have been doing alot of bad changes that have kept getting worse and worse over the last few years
I think a blackout is great, voting with your money really is about the only thing we can do aside from just deleting the game considering all the times our voices have fallen on deaf ears. I'm not sure organizing it with short notice or to land on a large content release was the best move here though. Even with big spender support unfortunatly FOMO takes over on a gambling game like this which was made evident the last time a blackout was organized and ATA dropped witching hour furni to entice spenders, and it worked then too. Seeing the hosts family tag on page 6 with (halting) next to it is rather discouraging as well. Regardless, I'd like to remind people you don't need an organized blackout to vote with your dollar. I used to be a big spender on here, subscription and everything. While I still do spend here and there through my gameplay, it's nothing like it once was, and I encourage ya'll to do the same. I know many people participating simply got their ec/dns they wanted to ahead of time - which is a lot like when a community protests fuel prices by not going to the gas stations on an organized day - but unlike that you don't need these pixels in your daily life. Any reduction of money flowing into ATAs pockets the rest of the year also serves as voting with your dollar, even if you don't eliminate spending all together. While it may not have the immediate effect of a successful app wide spending halt, or the recognition of having participated, it will still have an effect. We're all still here because this game means something to us one way or another, and your money or lack thereof will have an impact year round.
