UPDATE The Great Dorm Tower Update

Well. This actually makes a lot of sense and explains why the question "how does it work?" was never answered lol

 

I know someone with an account older than mine, less than 60mcs (around 50 i think, cant quite remember) who recieved the update. And I have access to buy the new dormmates while still have my same stats (tier 13s/14s). None of this makes sense lol

 

Going from info I see in these replies it’s going by stats and not account age.

The people I’m referring to that still see t14 had dorm mates auto exchanged, stats bumped up upon logging in, and a lot of cash was refunded so it’s really looking like they got the update and there’s a mistake with some of them still seeing t14.

I mean I agree it doesn't exactly make sense. I'm not sure why there is a need for this update. If the idea was to make it more upgrade and user friendly they should take a Kaw approach and have items that allow you to unlock dorms or put in dormies

For example to unlock a new lower tower dorm they could say Dorm x Requires 5 basic dorm/room keys and have it scale from there.

Then for the upper tower they could do like Elite dorm keys

For the Dormies they could do You need X amount of Protein shakes for strength Dormies, X amount of books for Intel Dormies... I haven't exactly come up with a concept for the mixed dormies but you get the idea..

I think it would also be nice to rebalance the piggy banks we get and maybe introduce a higher tier item like maybe it could be a Savings bond that cost like 100k and you get them once you start reaching X Story quest.

Just my 10 cents though. I Sometimes wonder if ATA even reads this far into threads and consider player suggestions or do they only care about suggestions that benefit their bottom dollar.

 

Are they still rolling out updates? Cuz I don’t think I’ve gotten the dorm tower update/compensation.

How do I speak to a blue name again? The green names are being biased and they need to be controlled instead of y'all using them to do your job. They don't like me because their friends don't like me... That's not a mods job. Lemme speak to a dev again.

 

Why am I getting banned for saying PG stuff?

 

Devs have red names. Blue names are honor students and are regular players. If you want to speak to a dev, you'd have to send a help ticket. If you want to speak to an honor student, I am one and would be happy to try to answer your question(s).

 

Okay now I'm utterly and thoroughly confused 💀
I got the update on an alt. Not the newest or lowest stats alt, that one still has the old dorm mates, but one alt (a 7 year old alt who was 674kcs and jumped to 6.3mcs) got it. So yeah, I got the massive stats upgrade, I got some of my dorm mates switched out (some got two stars too!), but I still have a mix of old and new dorm mates and I can only choose between old dorm mates if I want to exchange or get a new one. So yeah. I'm really confused right now 😂🙈

 

When you switch to your alt, you’ll have to delete the app and install it again. You should see the tower fully updated. But if you switch back to your main(since it doesn’t have the update) you’ll need to delete it and reinstall again. At least that’s what I have to do. 🤷🏽‍♀️
