Am I the only one imagining this or is ATA really gave 2 female avis in hunt avi boxes cuz the one suppose to be male looks more like a girl ๐ถ๐ปโโ๏ธ
I love the overall theme and the story so far, but I gotta agree that dorm and avis look disjointed somehow - I see you guys were going for the normal kpop, but also demon hunter kpop, BUT ALSO tourists in Seoul vibe, which meshed really weird. My fav avi is the first story one, so I'm pretty happy, but the rest is meh, so I won't be missing much.
I totally agree that I can see where they were going, too. I think this is a case of trying to please a lot of people about the variety of experiences that Korea can offer and what different players might want to see in a Korea hunt. Unfortunately this time it just didn't mesh as well as planned. Personally I would've preferred to see this maybe broken into 2 different hunts as a regular Seoul tourism vibe and then as a K-Pop Demon Hunters inspired hunt (obviously not back-to-back). I only say these 2 because we recently had both a K-Pop idols inspired battle pass earlier this year, as well as a K-Pop idol hunt in 2024 I believe.
I'm not really getting the K-pop demon hunters vibe from the hunt that everyone else is talking about...unless you're referring to the two middle lb avatars? They are what makes it feel disjointed to me.
There's too much going on with the avis that I kinda miss casual hunt avatars that don't have excessive accessories or unnecessary elements to them. (The first story avis would have been perfect without those horns, especially that guy's spiked bat...)
In the sake of being controversial, I do wish that any specific country/culture inspired hunts were more authentic and not always based on western societies interpretation. I get that it might be a certain niche, but I wouldn't mind actually learning something on this game instead of it just always being filled with brainrot. I know I know ๐ I'm asking too much of ata. It's just a phone app. Blah blah blah.
I wondered if there was culturally significant to this date period for korea but i think their thanksgiving is late september? So Iโm guessing itโs just random or an early celebration for that and ata is gonna do tourism centered hunts again maybe idk LOL and from what iโm reading if itโs kpop demon hunters inspired, wasnโt it the previous battlepass? ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ
i can tell itโs supposed to be a guy but a more fem guy but I can see how it would look more like a female with the pose and everything
If y'all are trying to bribe me this hunt, you're slowly succeeding cause vip box avis b2b from timer was crazy ๐งโโ๏ธ
adding to the collection of comments, it does feel like you had a bunch of different ideas and meshed it into one big generic South Korean hunt. i also agree with what someone said earlier, making more authentic hunts when about a country/culture specifically.
The pro drop I think is creepy, and while the avatars are cute, they donโt look like they belong together. ๐ค The desk also doesnโt look right.
as a frequent complainer about boring box design recently, ive got to acknowledge that this one is nice. they keep the shape but no latch and the extra parts are a nice touch.
Ugliest hunt I've ever seen โค๏ธ Next time try sticking to one theme only instead of multiple! Never have i ever seen something so mismatched on this game. Idk what y'all smoking
This !!! I understand creative freedom but what I donโt understand is why there was a need to stray from the actual concept (eg. Korea). Iโve been looking forward to EA/SEA hunts because they rarely push one out outside Asian holidays (eg. LNY). Korea has a lot of cool stuff to offer without the need to mesh designs, why deviate from that? If this was supposed to be inspired by KPop then stick to that. If this was supposed to be folklore from Korea then stick to that. Because if you were actually serious in blending all these ideas together, the least you could do is respect the culture you drew inspiration from.
