I think Hailey means that club admins in majority of clubs will likely be kicking anyone with communication disabled that joins their club, since many clubs enforce separate age requirements beyond the game ones.

Unfortunately my mom set up my phone settings a long time ago and accidentally put my birthday wrong so it says I’m younger than I actually am lol. that’s probably what the mix up is but she’s tried to fix it and I have tried there’s no way to fix it. I already sent a help ticket to hopefully fix the problem because if they don’t I’m done with the game fr, because if I can’t talk and interact with people and my friends on here when I’m an adult would be very disappointing:/ 😭
Allowing them even with restrictions is stupid. You dont need to open your game up to them you guys make anywhere from 14m- 30m in a year. Your audience is large enough. And when they become college age they can join. MANY of us lied to join games at an early age and were groomed. Even if you limit the socials. That wont stop anything. All they have to do is keep up the lies. Make an email account 18+ then the pimd account 18+ and if they keep lying well never even know. You guys are just money hungry apes and what your players give and do for you is NEVER enough. Yall are greedy and money hungry. You dont care about the younger players. You just want more of a base to line them filthy pockets even more. But hey thats my opinion. Yall are driving away the 18+ community with your bs so ofc you need to open up to kiddies.
Yes, then that would be the reasoning why. ATA may not be able override it in this case; I would contact your app store service provider (Apple or Google) as they usually have a way to appeal the age on the account. Usually you would have to show some form of government-issued photo ID. Although it sounds like you may have already attempted this, it may be worth trying again.
I just wish I didn’t have to go through all this fucking trouble just to prove that I’m an adult and not a kid it’s just the most frustrating thing.

From my side your account seems okay you have wall posts, you can post on walls, you have a status message and have friends what exactly is limited for you at the moment?
I don’t think anyone is truly complaining about the changes made to protect the underaged on the app but more why is the rating changed at all to be pushed towards “a new incoming adult audience” when the past few events/boxes haven’t even been catering towards your current player base for anyone who’s been around and consistent lack of communication when there are hang ups in game updates.
I totally understand your frustration, don't worry! I hope you'll at least give the verification processes one more go-around, but it definitely is annoying trying to prove you're an adult over the internet.
It’s not that we don’t appreciate the age restrictions to help protect children trying to join the app. By why are we advertising to kids as young as 13 in their App Stores. Then dangling the carrot of restrictions based on age making them want to lie to see what they are missing. Keep the age restrictions but also keep the 16/17+ age rating on app stores. Advertising to children is sick and ata should be ashamed of themselves.
This system is flawed. You also stated more than 3% of new accounts were seen as being 13-17. So what do you think adding this safe wall will do? These kids will put an older age to see what’s going on, so now this “more than 3%” rating will inflate. I know the comment to respond will be like “well then that is up to the parents.” You don’t think that you are also responsible for it by wanting to keep your target audience open? Which I will get into now. You state that another worry and need for this age change is this: “Mature app-store age ratings are also increasingly limiting app availability, discoverability and access to featuring opportunities on the app stores. That makes it harder for the adults we actually want to reach to discover PIMD. To keep campus lively for years to come, PIMD needs to continue welcoming new adult players into the community.” If these people you’re “trying to reach” don’t have adult games popping up onto their suggested games and rather younger rated games popping up are you sure those are types of people you do want on your game? Doesn’t that make you question why adults you’re trying to find to make your game community and revenue larger have kid centered games pop up rather than something adult targeted?
I’d like to add I’ve never had a problem with this game being pushed to me while underaged and of age so if the app stores are making the changes themselves and you’re bypassing that maybe worth another conversation?
Honestly if you can implement a system to restrict those ages. Then yall can implement a system to KEEP THEM OUT COMPLETELY! There is seriously disgusting people who do disgusting things on this app. It’s not a place for kids.

So from what’s limited is that all my social features are disabled I can’t see any of my messages it’s disabled too and my wall posts and everything else is disabled all I can see is the parties going on I don’t have access to anything else.
