I'm confused now. What is happening? The shard boxes are giftable now? Do you have to have all the other avis to open the box if gifted? Can we just never do this again please 🫩 this whole process has been beyond frustrating

Another thing for rich people....with such prices for me it's impossible to get them. Just say truth, this originaly been done for only heavy spenders....
Finally do smth for potd clubs and people who cannot afford spend that amount of money on game.

 

Can ya’ll stop posting like rich people are the only ones who buy shards or anything on pimd? There are still players who periodically spend, the regular middle class or those who save their ecs who are ftp that might’ve bought because they wanted one of the avatars. They aren’t only fucking over people who have the money to freely spend constantly. I promise you, the big spending players aren’t too ecstatic with ATA’s nonsense.

 

I will add to my comment that since it’s new mechanisms and trading (7 pages of comments showing dislike even with “an adjustment) maybe the 7 days and a few hours was enough as it’s not popular mechanics because of the dropping rates of those shards in particular. And this have affected the interest of the trading mechanics of those shards (in a section explain).

Additionally, I want to point out that shards availability differs from the avatars ability in shop and this was a response over the comments made in previous threads (and other random threads) back in 2023-beginning 2025) that people “have real life and don’t always have a paycheck or time to be there daily to earn shards. Therefore an extension of the time available to see shards was likely wish. I did see frequently players who don’t comments in forum appreciating this.

however, if there’s a change in the demographics of the players in late 2025 and beginning of 2026 because newcomers are joining the game / are leaving the game leading to a different viewpoint that’s is quite possible.


I do want to precise that the release of shards (former/ new formats (blueprint, this one, shards bard, box avatar, lucky box ) box back to back make it a lot for us players to keep up (mechanisms, spending, dropping rates that are low and not like 900 shards). I am one of those who requested long time because I knew some players couldn’t formulate their request/ feedback throughout forum. I do understand that by doing those different release you tried to appeal to a type of diversity (because some have state lack of diversity in physical traits/ appearance/ disabilities/ color hairstyle/ skin tones ) and shouldn’t be solely in specific month.

I do see that some general / vague comments in different threads have made an impact in your way of responding/ releasing stuff. And I do see that none of the releases will be ever unanimous/ 💯 what the community wants. There’s definitely preferences that don’t align with everyone (among players ). And perspective directions of how the game should be handled (among players ).

I’m not saying diversity is achieved, only that comments have point out more of it is needed. And I wonder if this is them trying to counter this (in general ). **

None of the avis cost $1k - just the Doll Stars Barter Boxes you would open to get sunglasses shards! The avis themselves require certain amounts of sunglasses shown in the original post.

The Mechanics on this makes my Dr. Brain hurt I have 3 Degrees one being a Masters and still can't comprehend what you all are doing and the logistics of these avis . The Math just isn't Mathing.

 

The silence from ata since the 30ec decrease is insane considering how much additional backlash they've gotten for it 💀

You've ruined the system for it😭 not only that but the amount of ecs you need and glasses just to open boxes is insane, like what are you lot generally thinking?? Despite it being expensive to even get the vip box Avis, I went to open it and it costs 1,250 MORE glasses on top of it? That aren’t even my color?? I usually defend y'all but dang that’s rough and I already spent all of my bentos just to even get the vip version. What a waste I wish I could take it back
