Even though bro above sounds like an idiot, I still agree the silencing for posting in the wrong channel whether it be on accident or purpose, is idiotic. An auto silence? Please. The new rules in quite a few areas are idiotic.
I think that if they keep it auto-silenceable, they should change the banners of each chat to list what the proper posts for each channel are instead of "Now viewing xyz."

I didn’t either up until the last two years as this app has further gone to shit. 18+ but can’t have “sexy” in your ign or be new and not know where to post in chats in-game to be immediately silenced lol why even display a banner 🧍🏼♀️
"Half of the people don't check forums regularly" Well they don't need to. Pimd sent everyone a notification to check forums because they changed the chat policies. They also gave probation period for mistakes like these. If they still can't check one thread that Pimd explicitly told them to check and be mindful of then it's their problem. While I don't like the overly strict nature of these new rules personally..it's quite understandable. Even though Pimd is a 17+ game they can't realistically stop minors from joining. Having sexual stuff publicly might land them in some sort of problems in future. They're simply trying to avoid that. (Avis are a contradiction to that tho)
You do realize those notifications are for the day or so that they have it up and it changes? You do realize that people do not log in regularly because some people are out here touching grass so they may not have seen this notification? 🧍🏼♀️ I guess we just fail to exercise that as an option when we are click clacking in the forum. The grace period doesn’t matter if the person logging in a week later did not receive this notification you assume everyone would see. I did not see the notification in game. I check forums regularly though. Anyway, the appropriate thing to do, would be to put the rules for each chat section, in the banners directly in game, as right now they are serving no type of purpose. The overly strict rules (aside for cracking down on the absurd amount of sexual content in public chat) is ridiculous. It is making the game even more unenjoyable. But why even bother cracking down on the sexual content in public if they won’t tone down their sexualized avatars or do anything about the pedophiles who are reported?
i am liking the new channels 👀👐🏻. Also I am curious why the forums says in the Is RP still allowed? <part> Players can make clean rp requests in the Student Union chat. But also says these requests are to made in connections 👀🫣🫶🏻
Hey Liberty! 💚 when the new channels were first launched, RP requests were to be posted in Student Union. After feedback from the community, ATA added the Connections channel, and RP requests, as well as requests for adds and friends, are now moved to that channel instead 🙏
