  1. Yes!!! We ask for them to be recyclable again but not tradable/giftable.

  2. ATA is literally taking it out on players who bought these bentos. I mean this seems to look like a April fool prank on those who bought the furniture for recycling knowing it was recyclable and than ATA tells them sorry today onwards it's not breakable..

Why does players who bought it with bentos have to face loss because of you being clumsy, either have it unbreakable from start to end or not at all.

  3. You guys should do another "Hotfix" and make this non giftable or tradable because people getting scammed left and right.

  4. I’m honestly livid and distraught. You HAVE to realize this is punishing the players investing in their dorms, not the alt farmers. Those people have already made their bentos and now the buyers are screwed. The team made a decision going into this xc that only people who hit 25+ parties in June would be eligible for the rewards. That was the stipulation. Some alt farmers are intense and reached that requirement but you had to have known this was a probable outcome? We’ve had influx of recyclable desks, 499s, 999s, but not beds for a long long time. If anything I would argue that this would’ve been helpful to newer players wanting to grow their dorms. The way I see it, is that the team should’ve learned from their previous mistakes and preset these items as non recyclable to begin with if they didn’t want to see a flooded market. Make a decision and stick to it. No takesie backsies. With the pride kitties/cuddle panda bed, the team took the L when alt farmers flooded the market with them years ago, but left them recyclable. In the following years you made the pride rewards non recyclable BEFORE release. But this year added the 25 party stipulation and made them recyclable. Then DAYS after release once seeing the flood are casually acting like it was ā€œjust a little oopsieā€ and disable recyclability??? People planned, strategized, checked, and THEN invested in buying these pieces. This is such a trash move on the team’s part. You had ample time to correct this mechanic before the reward tier was completed by campus, so this move is clearly damage control except it’s affecting the wrong people.

Now I’m bento broke and can’t get rid of these stupid things, even if I did sell them for cheap I’d feel like a freaking scammer trying to pawn them off on people who don’t realize yet that they can’t be recycled anymore. Like, how was this the right move in any way shape or form????? In no way does this change help the player base. I would even argue it harms us at this point. PLEASE RECONSIDER!!!

another thing that doesn’t make sense to me is how the pride foxes are 250 limited but not tradeable. And coincidentally were never tradeable from the start. That, and the furni originally being tradeable, was a choice the team made on purpose. Honestly this years pride xc had super weak rewards. everyone was looking forward to the recycle furni and now that’s been taken away too (if anything, the hotfix should’ve been disabling the giftability but leaving them as recyclable so that we could at least cope with what we’re stuck with). Even the bonus item given for art/charitable donation was just a furni version of the monthly spinner and not worth participating for imo. So lame. Just super displeased with this year’s pride events and how it all unfolded tbh. BOOOO šŸ…šŸ’„šŸ…šŸ…šŸ’„šŸ…šŸ’„šŸ’„

  5. Wholeheartedly agree, if the concern is alt abusers destroying the market, that damage is already done, stop them being tradeable and make them recyclable again so people who already invested their bentos can recycle what they have, and it limits further damage to the market.

The players who invested should NOT be punished for ATA's lack of foresight and mistakes.

Either that, or you need to allow people to open tickets to convert those they have bought back to bentos, because I know people who have hundreds of beds bought at 1:1b, and 499s bought at 2:5b.

    Make this right.

  6. Sooo ATA decided to reverse their decision and many people who spent hundreds of bentos on the furniture are now left with it and unable to recycle it. I know many people who spent a lot of bentos and are now left with it and are unable to recycle them anymore.

This will create more issue when they will be selling it to new players who aren’t informed that it isn’t recyclable.

this change is completely wrong and punisher players.

please reverse and fix this issue.

  7. This change is wrong and punishes players, not the alts or farmers who have already gotten away with Bentos and left us with nothing

  8. The way this situation has been handled feels extremely unfair. When the Pride furni was released, it was recyclable, and many players invested significant amounts of bentos into collecting it. That recyclability was part of the item’s value and influenced how people chose to spend their resources.

Changing that after the fact leaves players stuck with furni they may never have purchased under the new rules.

If there was a concern about abuse, there should have been a solution that targeted the abuse itself rather than retroactively changing an item that players had already invested in. This decision undermines player trust because it creates uncertainty about whether future items can have major features removed after people spend their currency on them.

I hope ATA takes community feedback seriously and finds a fairer solution.

  9. Please ATA - you’re literally REWARDING alt farmers and PENALISING your actual player base who wanna upgrade our dorms 🄹 Like isn’t it supposed to be the other way around?

At the very least please keep it recyclable (and not giftable or tradable). I spent 800b to buy them to upgrade my dorms but now I’m stuck with all these useless beds and 499s.. Why are we allowing alt farmers to take our bentos which we get from ECs & real life money? In this economy, we can’t afford this kind of scams 😭 SO PLEASE IM BEGGINGGGG; I HAVE NEVER EVER POSTED BUT I AM REDUCED TO THIS RN AND THROWING AWAY ALL DIGNITY TO BEG 😭😭😭😭

  10. This change to Pride furniture is honestly ridiculous. Making it non-recyclable after people already spent hundreds of bentos is a terrible move. You can’t just switch things up like that after the fact and expect players to just deal with it.

What makes it worse is that this doesn’t even fix the real issue. The alt farmers already got what they wanted and left. This only hurts regular players who were actually engaging with the event the way it was intended.

Right now it just feels like players are being punished for participating. If something isn’t done about this—whether that’s reverting the change or giving compensation—it’s a really bad look. Fix this.

  11. Hi ATA,
Making the decision to change the rules of an item throughout its existence is a vast overstep. You know that items get bought, sold, and priced based on their capability, features, and — yes — sometimes their ability to be recycled, which means that they are priced as such. Recycle pricing for these items ranged from 1–2b each, and some people bought in bulk to upgrade their dorms. This change to the basic integrity of a game object devalues those items and makes them entirely worthless to trade now. I'm sure that was your intention from the start, but your initial lack of due diligence should not become our problem. Especially as a long-time player having observed your undeniable shift towards a pay-to-progress format. You know, as a developer, that players pay to get extra chibis, bentos, perks, and such. Therefore, there is an actual monetary output on our part to partake in the PIMD economy — such as subscriptions. I personally will be canceling my subscription until further notice. Please stop making arbitrary decisions that have consequences for our gameplay and our wallets.

  12. While I do agree that changing the furni so that it can't be recycled any longer after it was is shady as heck, I am genuinely curious as to what some people planned on doing with 100-200+ beds and 499 when their furni in those spots are already maxed. Level 20 in dorm 1 and level 10 in dorm 2 (since it's kind of pointless to upgrade behind that since stats stop applying to your bonus at level 10). What are these people planning on doing with that many beds and 499? Am I missing some reason you'd want that many?

This furni from the start should've been like any event reward furni in the last few years has been. Not able to be traded or gifted. I would like for it to be recycled because there are some previous event pieces I would like to recycle just to get rid of it even if I don't get any of the upgrade parts from doing so.

  13. Personally, I was Preparing for the 3rd dorm that they promised to release LAST YEAR lmao.

  14. That is a fair point and one I wasn't even thinking of since it has been forever.

  15. That shouldn't matter, but they could be preparing for future rooms, they might want to change their leveled dorm, they might want to level a dorm for an alt, or they may be just stacking parts for if their dream dorm drops.

  16. ATA, this change feels like a rushed decision that came far too late. Alt farmers have already benefited from the bentos, while actual players are now being affected even more because many still don’t realize that the recyclability status has been changed.

This does not solve the ā€œmarketplace healthā€ issue. Either make the furni non-tradeable but still recyclable so players can deal with what they are already stuck with, or completely revert this hotfix.

The current approach is unfair and needs to be reconsidered.

  17. It’s actually so disappointing to see the blatant favoritism towards people who play the system with alts. If it was viewed as a mistake by the team, it should’ve been remedied AFTER the entire event and changed next time instead of punishing normal players who alr purchased multiple. šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļø

  18. Soo The pride furni WAS recyclable and when the market flooded ATA changed it so that it no longer is recyclable. Ofc myself and others wasted hundreds of bentos on furni we can’t do anything with it now. This change is wrong and punishes players, not the alt farmers who have already gotten away with the bentos and left us with nothing. Please take this into consideration as something to fix
