UPDATE Chat Channel Updates

Honestly respect. It looks overwhelming yes. But any change is that way. This was so needed in my opinion. I judged at first but I take it back lol

 

pub got too overly sexual, true but removing it and adding more channels, dang 😭 i love the categorization but goodluck mods, sending you energy 🫡

 

Uh is my name okay or can I get some free ec to change it?

 

Im actually all for these changes as long as moderators (not all) intend to use their higher brain to actually determine what is and isnt a silenceable offense.

 

Maybe more detailed? When I saw this I just assumed the policies were being updated, and I bet a lot of others did too. Also maybe some kind of warning about a pause in the chat? Idk just delt too abrupt

Also I would have expected it maybe at changeover? Cause that's how they usually do things

 

Wont 6 chat channels bog down performance even more? Just pub slowed flashes that much, imagine 3 more channel..smh

 

On this, @ATAteam what do you intend to do about people with suggestive or explicit names? Are they going to be given the option to change before any action is taken? I think a free name change for all would be in order and then determine a date where, if after it passes anyone else srill has an explicit name, they can then be actioned accordingly.

 

Got you fair enough. Make sense . Just don’t know if many would skip to rush to log in or it would make them stop or feel overwhelmed to see so many characters in a tiny space ☺️

 

I think this is a good idea honestly I see this way too often and it’s getting out of control

I'm actually open to this and think it could be helpful. When general chatter is mixed in with club recruiting and buying/selling/trading things get moved off screen fairly quickly at times. This could really help improve that.

Now can we please get a way to stop/ban the constant bot/spam alts that just keep being recreated? The ones that auto add you when you do something like start a party and want a chat buddy. My block list is so long because of them, yet they just keep making new accounts.

 

That's true. I just felt like there could have been a midway step or something you know?
