Just thought I'd let you know, I went on a "let's waste ecs" binge the other week and freed up some igns that I'm sure people would be willing to use.

Fugly, Ceb, Benthoe.

All no longer exist and are free for whoever would like them. I no longer have a use for them

If the account has been inactive for several years then it should work

 

If its not working then the account is still actively used

 

How do we determine if we are able to have the user name or not? I’m struggling to understand why an active v inactive player can have their name stolen. I don’t want to lose my tag just bc I take a week break - we all know this game is addicting and unhealthy

 

Pritty sure its 3 months inactive before the name becomes available

 

I’ve been watching that account for a few years, nothing has changed with it

 

Could be that it's because pimd is still installed on their device and they're "logged in"

 

All they have to do is log in and it classes as new activity. As long as they open the app at least once every 3 months they are classed as active

 

Y'all should switch it so if they haven't hit at least one party in over 90 days, the ign can be taken 😔 cause rn people will 100% just log in once every couple months to hold the name

 

I don't think that'll stop the issue, tbh. It'd be incredibly easy to add joining a noob club and unloading on a party to their once-every-6-months log-in.

Also, there is a decent chunk of people on here who actually don't party, such as some of the RPers as well as some of the more dedicated farmers.
