Double Downey April 1st, 2026 - April 2nd, 2026 12 PM Pacific Time Introduction April Fool’s!!! ...or is it? 👀 The Quad is under attack… and it’s not midterms this time. Out of nowhere, a chaotic flock of seagulls has descended on campus. They’re everywhere screeching, swarming, stealing snacks, and acting like THEY run the place. Rumor has it Downey might be behind it… but no one can prove a thing. What we do know: this isn’t just a bird problem. It’s a full-on campus takeover. No single Club can scare them off alone. It’s going to take the entire campus–every beat drop, every chant, every wild moment—to show these feathered freeloaders who REALLY owns the party scene. IMPORTANT DETAILS ☞ This Double Downey Campus Takeover Party will be available every 4 hours (meaning if the party runs for the full 3 hours, it won't be available again for another hour). ☞ To join the party, swipe left on your home screen! ☞ Each player will be capped to 5000 hits per Double Downey party. ☞ Moving forward, we'll be bringing back Campus Takeover Parties every once in a while. Consider this your heads up! How to Defeat the Gulls Defeating Downey and his flock will be a Campus XC, "Seagull Swoop"! This XC has a campus-wide score that the entire player base contributes to by participating in the Double Downey campus party. ☞ Use either SWOOP, PREEN and SCREAM attacks to hit the party's regular bar. ☞ The final bar will require you to throw Gull Costumes at the seagulls with the ITEM attack. ☞ Once defeated, this party will drop Ruffled Feathers on Campus which is what you will require to progress in the Campus XC. Gull Costumes These will be available for Cash in Molly's Deals every hour! Players can only hold 120 Gull Costumes at a time! Use this information to target your attacks accordingly! Ruffled Feathers on Campus Collecting these will contribute towards progress on the Campus XC. Each one of these is worth 1 point. Rewards Players will need to contribute at least 50 Ruffled Feathers on Campus to the Campus Score to be eligible to claim rewards from the main XC. Here are some rewards unique to Double Downey! PLEASE NOTE: - the stat items are non-tradable and non-giftable - the furniture pieces are non-tradable, non-giftable, and non-recyclable Squawk Ops Chat A special chat room: Squawk Ops Chat, will be available during during the duration of this event! This chat room can be accessed for 48 hours by purchasing a 🍟 French Fries Emoji Spell 🍟 from the Store! Use Squawk Ops to rally forces, strategize your moves and coordinate attacks against the seagulls! This chat will officially disappear shortly after the last Double Downey party concludes. French Fries Emoji Spell. Available in the Store until 12 PM PT on April 2, 2026. Squawk of the Town Achievement Squawk of the Town Achievement Make sure you partake and complete at least ONE Double Downey party to earn the brand-new Squawk of the Town Achievement 🏆 PLEASE NOTE Players should receive the achievement after claiming the first Seagull Swoop XC reward tier. Check out the very first Campus Takeover Party here! When does it start? The Double Downey Campus Takeover Party will be available from 12 PM Pacific Time on April 1st, 2026. Here are the party start times: 2026-04-01 19:00 UTC 2026-04-01 23:00 UTC 2026-04-02 03:00 UTC 2026-04-02 07:00 UTC 2026-04-02 11:00 UTC 2026-04-02 15:00 UTC How can I find the party? How often will the party be available? Swipe left on your home screen to find it! It will start every four hours. I can't find the party, the party icon isn't showing up for me? What's going on? 1. Ensure you are using the latest updated version of the PIMD app from your respective app store (App Store/Google Play) 2. Double check the party schedule to confirm there is supposed to be a Double Downey party running 3. If there is supposed to be an active party, the party could have already been defeated. In that case, you will need to wait for the next scheduled party. We would strongly recommend being there for the start of a Double Downey party to make sure you can participate. Just like with regular parties you run in your own clubs, there will be a 15-minute countdown timer that will appear to indicate that the Double Downey party will be beginning soon! What is a Gull Costume? Where can I find them? You'll need Gull Costumes to complete the final bar of the Double Downey party. You can find them in Molly's Deals for cash every hour! Each player is limited to holding ONLY 120 of these, so plan your attacks accordingly! What are Ruffled Feathers on Campus? These drop when the seagulls are defeated after a successful party! They count towards progress in the Seagull Swoop XC. How do I access the Squawk Ops chat room? You'll need to buy the French Fries 🍟 emoji spell from the Store! Once you do, you'll have access for 48 hours i.e. the entire length of this Campus Takeover Party event. This chat room will disappear shortly after the final Double Downey party ends. Are any of the rewards tradeable? Not this time around! Can I participate in this party multiple times? Absolutely! Every successful party completion weakens the seagulls and contributes to the global Campus XC score. The more you join, the more Ruffled Feathers you’ll collect, the faster you get to claiming rewards!
Okay this is a nice change, so long as you contribute you get all the rewards. So there's no need for whales to win everything and OP items because they're limited. So long as everyone puts in effort, everyone wins. And the idea is cute, I love the furniture and avis

👏 This is the content we love. Its cute, funny, include in game character content, and isn't catered around the big spenders and being pay to win. Everyone can have fun with it. I'm a big fan of the trench coat avi and the gull-shrine furni item.
Agree with the previous comments saying this is the type of stuff we actually want. No leaderboard. A true community event. Cute things that we don't have to spend our monthly paycheck to get. We can get my effort alone instead. Side note....I'm over the changing our words for April Fool's. It's done year after year. It's over done and old. I may be in the minority but I'm over it. It's really hard to effectively communicate with our club when our words are changed and our comments make no sense. Especially when there's this campus party and they're asking questions. I try to answer and it makes no sense because of the changed words.
Also, if I don't buy the emoji to be in the chat specifically for the campus party I don't want to see the previews of the messages for it at the bottom of my screen.
