Hello players! I sent a QoL suggestion to the devs and they encouraged me to post it here so the community can weigh in. If this sounds useful to you, please drop a +1 or comment below ☺️ the more support it gets, the better chance it has of actually being added! 🙏 ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 💡 THE IDEA ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ A small private note you can write on any player in your Friends List or Blocklist — only YOU can see it, no one else ever will. Like how some socmed apps let you add a note or your thought today on your profile. Same concept, but built into the game. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🚫 USE CASE 1 — Blocklist (Scammers, Runners & Alts) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ This is the main reason I thought of this idea. Scammers and bad players in this game love to change their names or use multiple burner/alt accounts. Once they do, it's almost impossible to remember who they are — even if you already have them blocked. With a private note, you could write things like: • "Bento scammer or no dog dropped" • "Alt account of [original name]" • "Runner: never CF" • "Rude at pub" This isn't just useful for catching scammers either. It helps fairies keeping track of farmers, farmers to track who's who with the amount of hitlist they have, or anyone you've had a bad experience with, so you're never caught off guard again, no matter how many times they rename. (sample mock up IU) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 👥 USE CASE 2 — Friends List (Name Changes & Inactive Friends) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ We've all got friends on our list who went inactive or changed their in-game name at some point. Over time it gets hard to remember who's who especially if you've been playing for a while and have a big friends list. A small personal note like: • "My old club admin" • "Met during the campus event" • "Changed name from [old name]" • "Trusted trader ☺️" ...makes it so much easier to keep track of the people that actually matter to you in the game. (sample mock up IU) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ ✅ WHAT IM ASKING FOR TO BE ADDED (hopefully🤞🏻) ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ • A small optional note field on each player entry (Friends List or Blocklist) • Only YOU can see it — 100% private • A short character limit is totally fine (50–100 characters is more than enough) • The other player is never shown or notified about your note That's it. Nothing complicated or hard to build. Just a tiny text box that helps players remember who's who. 🌹🌹🌹 It might sound like a small thing, but for anyone who's been scammed, dealt with farmers or alt accounts, or just has a long list built up of friends over years of playing — this would make a real difference in daily gameplay. For those who disable their account / their account be disable or have yet complete the tutorial quests, the feature of “note” would be applicable to do it or to be able to do it? For the limit of characters knowing that people change often IGN . Sometimes their former IGN is the 30 characters (max limit) so rewritten this in the 50-100 characters, idk if people have concerns . I do believe that limit range is good to see like if it uses and testing it out if it ever gets implemented. I believe until a certain quests complete you cannot exactly find the new player through the search name . Idk if it changes or still applying to specific devices users who download pimd as an app. would emoji ” be acceptable” 🤔 I believer there was a between member either on pimd discord or another thread that the note could be near the profile / status of the player , unsure if it would help or rather overwhelm/ but too many stuff / feeling cluttered on the profil. although the blocklist is located for my device in the settings of the game and having loading issue by the amount of blocked people. So, idk if it would implied relocating the different list features. Interesting idea , it will be interesting to see what others think of it.

I think it would make sense for the note feature to follow whatever restrictions are already in place — like how certain social features only unlock after completing tutorial quests. And by disabled accounts, I'm guessing that means banned or expelled accounts? If so, I'd hope the note a player wrote would still stay saved on their end even after that account gets removed — since the whole point is it's stored on YOUR side as a personal reminder. But honestly I'm not sure how that would work technically, that would be up to the devs to figure out better than I could 😵💫 ✏️ CHARACTER LIMIT & IGN CHANGES ➝ You're so right about this. Since IGNs can already be long, I think keeping it within 50 characters would actually be enough for a short and straight to the point reminder without it getting too messy. And yes to emojis too 🥰 Even just a quick 🚩 or ❤️ could work as a fast visual tag when you're scrolling through a long list. 📍 WHERE SHOULD THE NOTE APPEAR? ➝ I totally understand the concern about it feeling cluttered on a profile page. Personally I think keeping it on the list entry itself (like in my mockup) would be less overwhelming since it stays out of the way until you need it. Profiles already have a lot going on and we all know profile SS get passed around a lot, especially when there's drama 🍿😅. The last thing people want is for their private note to accidentally show up in a SS they sent someone. Keeping it on the list entry means it stays hidden from anything you screenshot and share, since it's ONLY ever meant for your eyes. But I'm really open to whatever placement makes the most sense based on what the community and the devs think too 🤞🏻 ⚙️ BLOCKLIST LOCATION & LOADING ISSUES ➝ Oh I had no idea that was already a problem 🥲😬 thank you for pointing that out. You're absolutely right that this is something the devs would need to consider carefully, especially across different devices. I wouldn't want the note feature to make existing issues worse. I know scammers often con small accounts like me because how we might be easy to fool by how rare an item/misc is. or send first payment scam 😔 so i do support this suggestion by OP so we can label scammers incase they change name to avoid or lessen people they can scam
This would help, especially new players not to get fooled and scammed. Scamming is rampant these days. I hope these scamming would resolve through this post.
Nice idea support so it's easy to track scammers and runners from sfw . Hopefully ata see this and create this magnificent rule!
This would be really helpful! Being able to add private notes would make it easier to remember scammers and past experiences without relying on memory.
