How do you get shards like imp shards without the need to trade at all, or have the items like this been long since gone from pimd party events?
Think the premium shards are part of vip? If you dont wanna pay for it with real money you gotta trade. But before trading make sure the avatar is still available. Alot of premium avis had to be purchased in the store using the shards and were limited time avis
If you dont wanna trade with other players then yes the only other way is buy with real money to get them yourself
There’s more or less 3 different types of avatar “shards” depending on what you’re looking for. Specifically, avatar shards like the Imp ones can be received by opening their correlating avatar boxes (Demonic Darlings shard box — non trade or giftable boxes). It’s 149ecs to open so you’ll need to purchase ecs. But these avatar shard boxes are only available in the shop for a limited amount of time and has since been removed and no longer purchasable. You can, however, still get the Imp avatars but the only way to get the Imp shards is through trading with players now. You have at least 38 days left to get these avatars if you’re still interested in getting them. VIP subscription has different types of avatar items and are usually called VIP avi items. These avatars need at least 60 items versus the shard avatars like the Imp ones that are based on tiers such as the base avatars needing 400, 600, 800 shards, etc. If you save up the boxes you get from VIP subscription, it usually drops avatar items and/or can trade for the items you’re looking to get. Lastly, the avatar shards you’re thinking of that used to drops from parties but are still found in hunt & lite boxes are the annual shards that drops during Black Friday and there’s 12 of them. Like the Imp shard avatar boxes, these avatar shard boxes are no longer available for purchase but the avatars can still be sought for by trading. I hope this helped!
