Yes, they have horses on clothes, but furnis and avis are dragon themed. It's just wrong.. If they're going to do lunar theme, they should do it right or to not do it at all.

For casual and f2p base that is gonna bw struggle and they won't get on high position on lb and if they do, not gonna collect enough to get the avi The party event or event through all the games would be better
i love that lunar new year is getting some love in these recent years! i do love the lion dance fit avi + mahjong tiles. i do think the tiles are HUGE and taking too much space on the avi. anyways, i wish that it wasn’t a lb event but rather a community event or a regular hunt. everyone should have access to the lny rewards without spending sooo much (like dns lol) there should be more horse related tings as it is the year of the horse!
Dragons symbolize good luck and bringing in good luck for the year along with many other things. In the parades people use the dragon puppet to perform Dragon Dance. So I would say it does matter and goes with the theme. The tiger shards they said were something people voted for in the surveys and has nothing to do with LNY.

Didn't we learn from the Sweet Harvest event that people literally would like a community event like the very first Hatchmon one again, where everyone worked together to get everything without ONLY the big spenders getting the actual nice things? Isn't like asian representation is the lowest of all in this game(didn't really change from 5+y ago) but as always, make good things lock behind cash. Well guess Ata really doesn't care how many people complain and want fairness. The minimum you could have done is make it accessable for everyone to get the base avis of all 3 avis and made all furni+stats accessable for everyone. So that only the vip avis are what LB people act rich for.
Forgot to mention, that Ata is the biggest yes-sayer to the Black-Market system whilst asking against it. Good Job.

I definitely feel like this should’ve been a community event seeing as LNY is rooted in family coming from all over to come together to celebrate. I agree with the others it should’ve been more horse related rather than the drops being the only horse related “item.” or the clothes only having horses. I was already confused why the use of tiger shards were made rather than the horse. In my opinion it seems like an event that is trying to target a communities cultural celebration without going through the proper steps to make it properly appreciated, and instead has become a cash grab to appropriate and profit.
This is going to spark if the horse moodboard is accumulated most vote back in September 2025 and gets released later on.
The best xc event they did was the spring blossom one. I was horribly sick for it and still able to participate. The rewards were good and fair and people could spend their extra drops in the shop for extra rewards if they wanted to push themselves. LB got the VIP version of an avi that was accessible to the community though regular gameplay. Myself and many others actually came to praise ATA for a job well done with details on what was so good and enjoyable about it and then they threw everything good about it out the window for future events. I have been saying this for years now and 100% agree. ATA is the biggest supporter of the black market bento trade. The ulta exclusive but still tradable items that break any level of attainability for the majority of the community makes turning to pay cash for bentos or items very enticing. The alt bans they've been doing have done nothing to slow this down. These accounts straight up advertise for dollar prices on campus. Resellers accouts are through the roof scalping people who dont know better and manipulating the games market on items to further add to their supply so they can profit off of the increasing FOMO ATA is intentionally creating with the structure of everything they're doing. Fucking the market and selling the profits for cash is a full day job for some people. The best way to combat this would be to give to the community at large. Instead everything is becoming increasingly cash only so your ec saved/earned is increasingly useless. More and more ec spending is coming to game so spenders who want to keep up with things have to spend more frequently. More leaderboards means more flashing and ec spent for drops and dns spent for rewards. Its utterly disgusting the way ATA encroauges this, and then in posts like this say they would love feedback from the community only to ignore that feedback in favor of profit. I understand employees need to be paid and servers need to run but the revenue this game makes is no small amount. Theres no reason we as the people should be expected to open our wallets with increasing frequency for a company that doesnt listen to the wants of its community. At this point just make people have to pay to download the app so people know what its about from the get-go.
I agree, this would have been better as a community event. I really liked those. Especially for holidays where the point is coming together and celebrating.... While the art is wonderful- I do not think avatar boxes should have been part of the rewards. This is the consequence of years of asking for avatars to be tradeable 👩🏻🦯 I agree, ATA is the biggest supporter of the black market. Atp, I'm almost convinced they don't care because it's still lining their pockets to some extent. Besides, they must be making quite the profit from whales actually going after these lbs.
