🍎 Sweetest Harvest XC : A Thanksgiving Mini Event! 🦃 11 AM on November 24th until 11 AM PST on November 28th We’re bringing something fresh to PIMD this season: introducing Sweetest Harvest XC. This is an experimental new event format, and we’d love your feedback as you experience this new format! Let’s dig into how it works 👇 Part I: Harvesting Day XC Throughout the event, you’ll take part in several 4-hour competitions called Harvesting Day XCs. HOW TO EARN XC POINTS Collect Juicy Red Apples from parties! Juicy Red Apple XC LEADERBOARD Your rank in each Harvesting Day XC will earn you Shiny Gold Apples which fuel your progress in the Sweetest Harvest XC! Each Harvesting Day XC will be numbered (e.g. Harvesting Day I, Harvesting Day II, etc.) so you can track your progress easily. Part II: Sweetest Harvest XC This is the main leaderboard event running for the entire duration of all Harvesting Day XCs, plus an extra 24 hours afterward to claim your rewards! HOW IT WORKS How many Shiny Gold Apples you've earned from each daily Harvesting Day XC will determine your placement on the Sweetest Harvest XC. Shiny Gold Apple Make sure to claim your ranked rewards from each Harvesting Day XC to secure your Shiny Gold Apples and progress in time! You’ll have 24 HOURS after each Harvesting Day XC ends to manually claim your ranked rewards. If you forget, these rewards will be deposited into your showcase directly. I feel like the Dino event might have been better than this because at least everyone had a shot to get the base avis and stats if they saved the currency earned. Now it's whoever flashes and spends the most has a CHANCE of getting golden apples. Like I know this is pay to win now but atp just officially announce it so everyone knows where they stand

Sweetest Harvest 1) Get red apples drop in line with normal party drops (same cap, jet and VIP does not apply) 2) Rank on Harvest Day XC (limited time 4hr) with red apples to earn golden apples. 3) Rank on Sweetest Harvest (5 day XC) with golden apples for rewards
Basically, the same way you would do leaderboard, do this during the 4hr xc for earning most amount of red apples, and thus golden apples.
Marceline, I notice some users get Apple Sky Bear as a reward from Harvesting day tier 3, some do not. Are you able to share what the criteria is to being eligible?
Hey Goose, Apple Sky Bear should be a reward for everyone on tier 3 on Harvesting Day XCs. If anyone isn't getting it, can you please ask them to write in?
I'll ask them to, thank you! It seemed as though their 3rd reward was 525 vice 600, and it was excluded the sticker pack and stat item. I'll get them to open a ticket.
☝🏼😔 Are jet bonuses meant to apply to apples too or is it intended for apples to be excluded from that bonus
Hey Evangelion, we tried to balance this event so that with consistent regular playing you can get the avis on tier 5 of the Sweet Harvest XC, along with some stats and furni. If you regularly get top 1000-1500 on the Harvesting Days, you should get enough Golden Apples. We'll keep an eye on things as the event progresses, but I don't think it will be as hard as you think. Please do let us know how you're finding it though, as with any new event it's possible the balance needs some finetuning.
I feel like with how flashes are, it's not exactly likely that smaller players will be able to consistently get t1500. It kinda seems like it'll be unattainable for them
Do the apples only drop from ECs or Potds and ppotds too? If it's only EC: 1. Most players won't be able to engage with the content. It's only for those who do flashes or cat/dog clubs. 2. Dunno what parameters you wanna use to measure the success or failure of this but if its the number of ppl engaging with it, I'd say very less ppl will. Though if your goal is people buying more cats and dogs and engaging more in flashes and EC parties, then yea I'd say it'll be successful. 3. Suggestion: All ECs, ProPotds and Potds should drop the Red Apples and not just EC parties like the BattlePass Drops. If its POTDs and PPOTDs: 1. Why put it in the time when most ppl are just testing? Again, most ppl won't be able to engage with it since it's only 4hrs. 2. Suggestion: Start it like 5hrs or so after CO or maybe as soon as someone finds a POTD. That way more ppl will engage and have a fair chance at it. Hope that helps in terms of feedback💗 As for my personal opinion, I kinda like this as a New XC event that could happen occasionally. I just wish you did it during the 5x promo.
I disagree, the last event was essentially more hits = more DNs used = higher ranking, that was true pay to win. This one better enables activity based rewards. Neither are perfect, but this is definitely less "pay to win" than the last format, in my opinion.
For sure, we did account for flashes, and the general increase in activity we see over BF. We're happy to make adjustments if needed though, so keep us posted if you're finding it's too difficult
Yeah, this looked nice in the beginning but....placing in the top 1500 to get golden apples as someone who is active but in a PotD/PPotD club amongst the players in sessions and who will flash looks discouraging. Really miss the days where effort alone was enough to get things. Now how much money we were willing to dump or time we're able to spend glued to a phone.
