  4. I'm missing one banana downey coin for the top banana downey plush that costs 8 coins and they all give us 7 coins
     
  5. Yes, they were only giving out 7 free coins (one per day of the week). You can purchase more Downey coins with some of the bundles in Molly's Corner, or settle for the 5 coin Downey plush. The banana one is tradeable, however, so perhaps you can find someone selling that one.

  6. what i got from this was, despite the community screaming that we want EC story passes back instead of battle passes, you guys are just going to “think about it.” please really truly consider it. there are already so many things that cost money in pimd, can you at least just give us this one thing.

  7. I do have to say that I appreciate the level of depth and candor that the devs gave in their responses. I frankly expected the devs to ignore all the hard questions and only answer the “fun” and “quirky” ones. It’s good to see that it wasn’t the case here.

    There were some, particularly regarding the last few story passes, with really half-assed answers. I can’t say I blame them for that, though. There aren’t exactly any PR-friendly ways to say “we wanted to see how egregiously we can milk our players before they revolt”.
     
  8. Thank you for this. I’m always getting asked by new players and players that missed the event when it would be available to start or complete.

    They should really start doing “news letters” in game or something along those lines for people to see this kind of info. There’s still a lot of players who don’t understand how to use forums and/or don’t use and understand discord (or like me joined it and I never look at it compared to how much I look at the game).

    And to be honest I didn’t know they really interacted with people on there 😅 I just assumed it was like forums and they look but don’t comment back.
     
  9. There are AT LEAST 4 a day at this point I swear! I’ve been looking at this more recently and noticed one account will start a party and then you can watch them hop to another one. Then once a party starts all the accounts come pouring back into them.

    I hate to say this but they should make it cost more to open a club or limit it in some way to prevent this. I know it’s not fair to those who are newer to the game and want a club of their own but something needs to change. Even if they make it more expensive and someone else buys for them there will be someone’s account associated with it to look into.

  11. I actually think they did a great job at choosing common questions asked by players in forums and other platforms. I’m also satisfied with the answers and the overall clarity this has provided. If you still have an issue with anything specific after they’ve answered multiple questions that were related to the “greedy” and “money hungry” accusations, maybe ask a dev directly. Just a thought.

  12. Now that I’ve taken some proper time with this:

    Things certainly feel like they’re starting to blur together. I remember being able to look trough my showcase as a sort of time line based on items, but now I have trouble differentiating hunts/events/seasons.

    There was a time when it felt like the team was much more active in the community, and it has felt like there has been a lot of push for more spending with less communication from ATA. For me, this has made the increase in paid for content, and the overall feeling that it costs more to play the game, feel cold. I enjoyed the transparency in this thread and hope to see marked improvement.

    I think an important part of said history is that, as I remember understanding it, they were introduced as a way for several members of a club to come together and each pay a smaller amount for a party with larger rewards. With the increase in frequency, over the years, it has turned into more of a hassle for ex clubs and large players who want the increased rewards. I liked when invite parties felt special, because more casual players often are able to play more frequently during holidays, and the original intent of a community coming together can be realized. I would like to see permanent additions require fewer initial actions than 22 drops. I think the dog parties are an excellent example of complicating a party without overcomplication.

    I see that there is an increase in the quality of shard avis. I also see the changes the team is attempting in bringing old shards back with better recolors in the latest re-release of the Angelic Romance shards. It’s nice to see that they were given their own proper cohesive coloring. I have been vocal about my distaste for the return of avatars, but I admittedly starting to come around to shard avatars returning, especially if they are given additional value. I would still rather not see the return of hunt, box, nor (and especially) leaderboard avatars. These all required varying levels of engagement and effort at the initial release, and having them return cheapens that initial effort. The additional visual effect of the Level Up Avatars is cool. Although I do not agree with the convoluted way we are expected to cobble them together; idk if being vague in the announcement post that they were extra special was on purpose, or I was so distracted trying to understand what we were being asked to do that I missed it entirely.

    Yay! PVP hunts are my favorite, as I thoroughly enjoy the extra strategizing they require. May I suggest a PVP story pass? (missed opportunity for the battle pass honestly) However, I do hope PVP actions can get a little attention and rebalancing soon, as it seems as though the mechanics originally set in place did not account for how high stats can now be.

    I’m not masc and rarely use masc avis, but I don’t find them bland. I can tell the team has put a lot of effort into conceptualizing masc avatars in the past few years. I can say that my bf’s main complaint is that the faces don’t seem ‘masculine’, which I think I’ve parsed down to lacking in ruggedness and/or facial hair.

    Happy to hear this, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed these community events. I think the leaderboard for participation is a nice addition in this necromancer iteration.

    I would like to see more interaction from the ATA team, including more AMA. The campus takeover events have been fun community ‘stuff’. I’m excited to see these new parties Jean mentioned above, both f2p and ec.

    Guilty 😅 I may have on occasion been a liiittle spicy in my feedback. 👉🏻👈🏻 I love this game, so sometimes when something innovative drops it feels more personal than it should.

    🥺I know it is difficult to pour so much energy, attention, and care into something and to have a community or large portion of it receive it poorly. It can be challenging to remember, and separate, the fact that the community is judging you the business/you the worker, and not you the person- which is a very different thing.

    I am much looking forward to increased engagement. It does the community good to remember that there are actual humans working behind the scenes, something that is only too easy to forget on a phone game.

    YES PLEASE But yeah, the other two ideas are also great. I think the idea of an expanded rs system with additional bonuses is one I would really enjoy.

    A system in place to benefit from a large collection of avatars would be really cool, and I think it could ease the sting of seeing some recycled.

The furniture dye shop was a cool idea in theory; however, some of the items looked like they had been poorly filtered (the geode lamp comes to mind), and dying the items didn’t make them any more diverse. If the dye shop had allowed the furniture to match other furniture sets better and allow for more mixing and matching, I think it would have hit different. It would be nice to see repeated color themes that allowed more diversity and encourage mixing and matching of a variety of sets. And please, not just a filter slapped over it 🙈

    I like the idea that good/positive behavior increases speaker allowance, while negative behavior decreases it. This could also serve as an alternative to silences- a more in depth warning system as it were. This could also tie in with anniversary gifts (mentioned later on) where older accounts with consistently good behavior throughout the years receive more (though I have no idea how that would be calculated in practice).

    I think 100 is perfect; 100 active members is enough for current parties, and I imagine with that current stat limits, will work for any harder parties introduced in the future. This max also limits alt bot clubs somewhat. Also, 100 active and speaking members is more than enough for a single room, and it limits that amount of accounts simply ‘parked’.

    This sounds like a cool idea.

  14. shocked that no one paused on this one. they literally went on to mention following apple/google play app guidelines in the same a couple questions after this lol. wild.

    since we're in agreement that this is a gacha game at least, here's the app guidelines you should be following with regards to drop rates.

    • Section 3.1.1 In-App Purchases:
    • Apps offering “loot boxes” or other mechanisms that provide randomized virtual items for purchase must disclose the odds of receiving each type of item to customers prior to purchase.
    Google: (link: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/9858738?hl=en)

    • Apps and games offering mechanisms to receive randomized virtual items from a purchase including, but not limited to, “loot boxes” must clearly disclose the odds of receiving those items in advance of, and in close and timely proximity to, that purchase.
    The language is clear. Loot boxes (i.e. hunt/shard/lucky boxes) or other *mechanisms* (i.e. keys/ecs) that provide said randomized virtual items MUST CLEARLY DISCLOSE ODDS OF RECEIVING THOSE ITEMS.

    Common, Rare, Super Rare, and Ultra Rare are not disclosures of any actual ODDS, they're arbitrary categories that can have odds of EACH ITEM change at any time at the whims of the devs.

    I'm actually sick n tired of yapping about this on almost every forum post and having it be left unaddressed. I also asked this question in the AMA and while i wasn't expecting an answer, i was more surprised after seeing how genuinely transparent they seemed to be on this one.

    There is one thing I didn't see mentioned but I would love to see addressed at some point - the pet system. It's been ages since new pets were introduced and some players have maxed most of not all pets already. Are there any plans to update the max levels or bring in new pets? Thanks!!
