It’s a push on their part to see how much people are willing to spend and how much they can milk out of their heavy spenders with no regard to the rest of their players. It has consistently gotten worse so apologize on your own behalf because we are still tired of their blatant greed.
So we still have to buy avis we don’t like at ridiculous op prices just to receive furniture that we can’t trade. Then after we complete the 19 we get tradeable boxes, that can be sold at op prices. So are we guaranteed a different item every time or are we just going to have a bunch of recycle furniture that we can’t trade whenever these boxes are being circulated through the mp?
Hi, Due to the requirements now being lessened from the original 7 to the current 3, as someone who bought 7/7 in order to unlock the furniture pass, how do I get the currency/ec value I spent in unlocking the 7/7 required that I needed? I do realize the requirements have changed, but I did already spend x amount of ecs in unlocking the 7 needed and would appreciate being refunded/compensated for the 4 I no longer need/ didn’t want to get in the first place; if it was not for the original requirements.
I agree i didnt want the avatars either im upset i spent $150 ive been on here 11 years im done spending money this was the worst thing they could of put out and then change it up and not reimburse us anything.
Thank you for making it more accesible. (even tho I do feel bad for players who already spent money or bentos for 7 avis.) Also I appreciate the public apology to Zelda, she definitely deserved it. 🥹 But still, the community will not forget this that easily imho. And last thing, just a friendly tip; next time if you'd feel like "do a little picking back", react to a person who's actually sending rude comments instead of to a confused one.
kudos to taking community feedback and taking action (even though it needed to be an absolute uproar of the community) in making the change in making the avi requirements less, and issuing a public apology to iZelda. however, this entire debacle should come as both a lesson learned and much-needed wake-up call. ATA, you continue to lose trust in your player base, and predatory schemes such as this will become the catalyst to PIMD’s down fall. while it’s perfectly fine to cater to the portion of the players who spend money that fund these hunts and content, you are mistaken if you think the F2P players also don’t have a hand in its success. the community literally spoon feeds you content ideas that you choose to still ignore. reduce the frequency in new premium content go back to your actual content release schedule so we can all fucking breathe between hunts and new content make better free content that actually look good and NOT ugly for gods sakes, bring back the 3rd male avi for monthly avis make shards more accessible to F2P players who painstakingly have to spend months, even years, to collect enough for their desired avis; why don’t you put shards as rewards for completing parties instead?? you’d be wise to start actually listening to us instead of brushing us to the side. also, i’m in agreement that those final premium story quest avis should not be 110/110; at most it should be 105/105.

Your comments make you sound like a jealous tool. Not everyone that purchased to gain all 7 avis are frequent lb participants, and not everyone sold off their excess shards to better pad their bentos for later. Maybe thats the majority of the people you interact with, but not everyone. I put down alot of money, unhappily, because I wanted access to a dorm that I wanted. Not to be able to sell or trade off. I wanted it for myself. All my extra shards were not sold, they were given out to my friends to help them try and get the quest as well. Regardless of who sits on the LB or not, I think its unfair to not have some sort of compensation for the players that did purchase all 7 originally required avis. Just because you have an opinion, doesnt mean its right.
People that are now happy they can access as well the quest with only 40 bentos are living in their own world, they don't think further, what's gonna be like if now everyone can have a 110/110 that was supposed to be hardest to get. They're just happy they can have it as well
I still have a lot of mixed feelings about all of this. About how what happened and how it was handled. And I wonder how we are going forward. Things like this should not happen again. I know reading all the feedback we give can be a lot and it spur a lot of negativity and sometimes it’s not easy to read this when you work so on something you are proud of. But it’s constructive criticism. The creative world isn’t easy, but please be kind and understanding. And if you reply to a comments please please please reread before you hit send and let someone else read it too, that way you know if it hits the way you want it to and if not, change your answer. Anyway thank you for apologising to Zelda, that was really necessary and good you made it so public. I really hope we can move forward and let something like this never happen again. If the last reward would've been 105/105 nobody would've been interested in these shards. A huge lot of people bought all the avis only for that last reward which makes changing the requirements for starting the quest insane.
Well, we are gradually getting to that point where people who bought 7 avis will start to be very disappointed, blame the devs, say that those who bought only 3 avis are fools who don't understand anything. Those, in turn, will start talking about how impatient whales are ready to accept anything we are given to swallow, that they should touch the grass, etc. PIMD: Civil War smh. Stop picking on each other, it's clearly not the fault of any of the players. And suggestion (not new tho) - next time, before releasing such an event, publish the idea on the forum and look at the reaction of the community. P. S. If the current drop rate is an increased rate, I'm afraid to imagine what it was like
This is gonna be long so please bare with me🥹🫶 ATA Marceline, I appreciate the public apology to iZelda. It was the best way to go about it after publicly "poking back". However, the damage has been done. The trust we had for ATA AND the dev-player relationship are broken sadly. The players voiced their feelings about everything to try to make you realize how far you've strayed from the PIMD we loved. Yes, there are some people that go overboard & just talk crap about everything, but ATA please dont let them reflect for the whole community. We have always stood by y'all & buy whatever you release when we like it. The community spends money on shards, storypasses, ec & dns to t10/t100, "deals" you give us for certain items, & furniture. The community as a whole asks you to keep things the same: give a storypass, stop releasing so many shards & lucky boxes, stop trying to make changes to the cat cafe party(it's literally no better than the original). Day 2 of this event, and it still screams disaster to most. Once again, I feel like this should've been 2 separate events released together: the shard avis as a set & the furniture separately as a story quest format. The community obviously doesnt agree on likes & dislikes as a whole. My format would've made it so people could choose to buy what they like vs being forced to get things they dont want. On the topic of stats for the special avis... I agree that it should've never been 110/110. To make what used to be a possible hope for your t10 players, you made it accessible for anyone who spends enough money for it🌚 You spit in the faces of your biggest t10 players with that. Change the stats of the special avis for this event to 105/105 please. Honestly, with this continual stat increase y'all keep doing for everything, the 105/105 avis aren't even really "rare" anymore. And PLEASE, stop releasing so many VIP+ avis😮💨 Half of the time, they're just recolors or look like a filter was slapped on anyways. The f2p players have definitely been cast aside. "But they could just spend bentos." Talk to your community, ask how many of them even have bentos... And the yearly shards that you release every BF don't cut it. As others have said, it takes f2p players months or even YEARS to collect the amount of shards they need. ☆Suggestion that would benefit all players: Create a shard design and have the shards drop from ALL parties. Make the shards NOT TRADEABLE so resellers & alts can't benefit off players! Create multiple sets of avis that can be purchased using these new shards. Once players have purchased all the avis they would like, they could buy a reset item with the in-game cash currency to stop the shards dropping from parties. I know that it may seem like it won't benefit the ATA team, but I feel that it could actually increase the new player database & help bring back some previous players because they could actually participate in the game & collect avis the way they should be able to already🥹🖤 Overall, I hope this event has showed the ATA team that we WANT to be here on PIMD: chatting with friends, collecting avis and/or furni, & enjoying the gameplay experience as well.
Its a improvement but still fuckn shit. All yous have done is increase the cost of getting the story pass. People are just gonna end up paying the $30 or whatever on the market to buy the avis and get it instead of spending the ec to get the shards. But hey you are creating a great booming business for the sellers so its good for them i guess
I’m sorry, but this event should have just been deleted. Don’t try again another time. Everyone is still mad. You have people who spent arms and legs for the 7 avis. The event gets reworked to 3 avis. Fine, great, doable (for paying players only). And now, people are mad that the final avi is 110/110, which is exclusive for LB. (And it’s highly possible that paying players will get the 110 avi, meaning it’s no longer exclusive - given the amount of bbbs, I’m sure your pockets must be full also). You should have just closed the event. Just leave it as shards. The 110 avi should have been never introduced.
How you expect us to get all of them when people are overpriced selling and not one person wants to help, should make it easier
If it's reworked more to just shards people will be even more mad, as the avis are extremely ugly and people bought them only because of the extra event
