Hello, I’m wondering happened to misc prices? I remember them being like 2mcs single or 2.5mcs few items or 3mcs random stack for a bento and now after being gone for a couple years people are saying like half that??? Is this the case? Are any of you guys willing to do more? What is a realistic price now?
With the amount of misc farming now days i would of thort prices would of tanked not got more expensive
People are looking to buy bulk misc at 2mcs:1🍱 on campus chat, so you’ll realistically have to pay slightly more than that to find a seller. The best rate I saw advertised from a seller recently was 100mcs:55🍱. There was a whole series of posts earlier about how misc is extremely important to farming. More farming = more demand for misc. Plus, 🍱 inflation has affected pretty much everything except party drops.
There are so many bot clubs full of small alts that there's so many stat items from 125kcs-2mcs that the prices have plummeted. Why buy a 2mcs stat for 1b when you can make bot alts or buy from bot alts for cheap? And the bot alts make the main quick chibis, so they aren't upset that the prices have gone down, as long as they're making some kind of profit off it in the end.
I’ve seen the bot clubs, and it’s really easy to find them from campus buzz. Where exactly can you buy cheap misc from bot alts, though? Do you have to be in the know with the right dealers, and such? They’re probably not openly selling on campus since I see people regularly trying to buy bulk misc (not singles) at 2mcs:1🍱 without getting any responses. If the bot owners had business sense and weren’t hiding, they wouldn’t sell below that.
I don't think they are selling. They are funnelling the items to their VIP main accounts. There is a cult around collecting and hoarding "misc" on this game. It is overpowered, especially when compared to tutors, and it is leading to the increase in value. That said, it tends to be over valued by people. It's not a magic bullet, and hoarding it isn't doing people any favours for their progression. The supply has been dampened because of people constantly providing advice not to sell it. But it is so common that if people were incentivised to use it to trade, they might. I see too many accounts, instead, with starred sections full of shards, boxes, VIP avi components, and furniture. There is enough of that other junk to trade and sell, occupying market share, that they can turn profits and never need to trade their story rewards.
If this is true (and I agree that this is the most plausible explanation), it would explain why ATA lets some bot clubs operate in the open with zero effort to appear legitimate. ATA doesn’t want to crack down on their pay pigs even if what they’re doing is technically against ToU and making the game crappier for everyone else. I suppose ATA doesn’t extend that grace to indian bot club owners who don’t pay them, though.🤣 I’ve noticed fewer of them lately and there’s been a drop in misc resellers, which explains the increase in price. Misc is stupidly overpowered since it basically doesn’t count towards your matchmaking strength in pvp and is the only other thing from dorm strength that affects cash loss. ATA could rebalance it, but it looks like they’re too busy thinking of how to milk players (see: the beauty and the beast story pass) to bother trying to improve the game.
I haven't paid much attention to buying/selling in campus in a while, so I don't know what the current prices are 🤣 Last I remember, people were trying to buy mix misc 3:1b and 2mcs singles for 25-30c
