These avatars and furni are gorgeous. I like the color combos and shading especially, and the variety of poses is cool!
Personally, I think this is a crazy take because the term is more accurately "Lunar New Year", as it's a holiday that is celebrated by various Asian cultures and they each may have their own term that they like to refer to lunar year as. It's a holiday that has many diverse ways to celebrate. Referring to the holiday as JUST "Chinese new year" and therefore NEED "Chinese Avis" is low-key insensitive and a weird way to look at this.

representation is good but just black people but i have seen past few hunt only black people are being represented, which is good but that about others? most main and side avis are dark skinned :/
This is a pretty insensitive comment to make as basians fully exist and it IS important for them to be inclusive as mixed races are OFTEN overlooked and excluded from parts of their culture.
I think you might need to take another look at the avis because it's not even close to all black representation. And also complaining about black people being represented in an inclusive holiday for the new year is...really not coming across how you probably want it to. I def suggest not doubling down on the way that's being said
